I like Benga and early dubstep as well as newer stuff like Skrillex or Excision. I mean, people hate on Skrillex because hes always using a wobble bass, but a lot of pioneering dubstep artists use the wobble type bass sound (even guys like Skream) as well, if not as consistently as guys like Datsik or Skrillex. Also, that "brostep" wobble is just Skrillex's sound--like it or hate it--just as the clean or slightly distorted bass/sub bass is Skream's or Benga's.

As for influences, art does not evolve in isolation. (Nor does science, but that's another topic altogether.) The applicable threads intertwine too much. Ask any electronic musician nowadays where their influences lie; then try to map them geographically.

Most of the US's top fighter pilots volunteered in 1938 for the RAF and were there since the begining. By 1940 the US was already running supply convoys to Britain as well as escorting British ships. Btw you guys officially declared war at the same time we did right after pearl harbor got bombed.
