Also, as someone who appreciates my work, I really wouldn't mind if you have ideas for scenes in future remakes. It's good to have fan input to make better products. I want to stay true to the originals while ... fixing them in every way. I don't want to irk my fans.
Since I got my video editor to work well enough again, and I guess I'll put my tribute to 2011 away for now, I'll get back to Star Wars IV.
@Michaeluj Can't wait. You really need to fix the whole Narrator-R2 thing. You know, one of my favourite ideas for the show was for R2 to recoginse Darth Vader as "the ***** death kid" due to their encounter in Episode I in which R2 specifically began hating the character and believing him to be a horror. The bad side of this is that it would cover up his hatred towards 3PO.
@DarthRushy Yeah, I will gladly get rid of the narration. It had a few laughs and some things to give my videos an edge for my humble beginnings, including one inside joke for my friends, but it doesn't belong and will remain only watchable in the original version.
There is only one scene in Episode IV that can allow R2 to recognize Vader, and that is when he comments on the nostalgia of lightsaber battles. However, he could also say something during the ending's battle or somewhere else.
@Michaeluj R2 doesn't necessarily have to be in the same scene as Vader to know that he's there. Let's say that 3PO told him off-screen or Luke did in Episode VI in the shuttle all about "Vader's here. I shouldn't have come". Oh, and you should continue the "NO MORE BATHS PEOPLE!!" It'd fit nicely in Episode IV, at least.
But I think that baths shouldn't be a repeated joke, especially to the extents that I had done it.
How's this: for the ending battle, when Vader is approaching Luke's fighter, R2 says something like, "And Annie finally kills me.", said in that dreaded tone before Vader fires?
Okay, it's better that you make connections to the prequels stronger(very Lucas-like) and that you make less "retards".
