@Moreno53 did you see the vid by motor trend with the drag race between the LFA and GTR? The LFA won. And the Hyundai genesis 5.0 r-spec is basically a high performance sedan like the BMW M5. The 5.0 regular is compared to 550i and a 3.8 is compaired to a 335/535i. So between the M5 and the 5.0 r-spec, M5 wins.
@Moreno53 the only thing that makes a Hyundai worth buying is it's warranty. That's it. The only hyundais worth buying without a warranty is the equus and the genesis.

Grand Touring has a more softer ride than the Track model which is of course more track oriented then there's the R-Spec which is basically a Track model without cruise control, leather, nav, sunroof; basically a tuners dream, and skip the 2.0 if u want good performance and go for the 3.8. Kyle had a 3.8 Grand Touring model, check it out on his channel.

@vasprap The track is top of the line. The track has everything the grand touring has (except the brown leather option) plus the 19 inch wheels, spoiler, brembo brakes. Think of the track as a combination of the grand touring and the r-spec.

@talldude123 True. I mean it depends on what you want and what you need. Personally, I would get the Genesis given I don't have any family and I like the sportier looks of the Genesis (Coupe of course). The Sonata is really nice too though. Another one I would consider is a stick shift Altima.

@SpeakerZoNHigH The 3.8 rspec is a base model genesis with a 3.8 and a manual, no fancy features, but I think it still has bluetooth. yep there is supposed to be a refresh for 2012 i think with a bump in horsepower to 330 something thanks to direct injection.

I've driven hundreds of miles and actually save on gas because the tank is so big :)
i wish hyundai (and others) would just make the smartkey access touch sensitive for the unlocking on the back of the door handle. less of a hassle to press the button both ways.

@datpimpinboy True but the Genesis sedan is a different league of car from the Sonata, in both size and price. The Genesis is designed to compete with the BMW 5 series and Mercedes E Class, while the Sonata is designed to compete with Accord/Camry

I hate Hyundai.. Nothing but cheap interiors.. And you don't get any looks in it..
In something like a Mercedes-Benz or a BMW, people would look at you twice.
In something like a Honda or a Hyundai, no one would even notice you.

There is nothing better than the sight of safety and some of the wanted and most luxurious cars in the world. Who gives a flying shit about a Hyundai or a Honda. Those cars are irrelevant.

Especially there in New York where people are known for minding their business. You act like people stare in awe at those cars, it's not like they are Lamborghini's or Aston Martins or something, and I see quite a few of those also.

@datboiwes333 Who cares? People who drive Mercedes-Benz cars or BMW's are superior to others and most people wish they drove them. BMW's are more as important as any Lamborghini or Ferrari. Also, majority of Americans couldn't even afford the payments on a new BMW or a Benz, so the people driving them pretty much have it made.

I admit I would like to drive an expensive luxury car but that doesn't mean I'm not happy with the car I have now. People could afford BMW & Mercedes if they bought them used lol... Not everybody is consumed in fancy materialistic items. I'm just glad to have a roof over my head, food to eat, and a car to drive.

@datboiwes333 "Most" people in the world couldn't afford a new Mercedes-Benz or a BMW because of the pricey payments, insurance, and repairs on it. Only the wealthy could afford such luxury. I look at people who drive BMW's and Mercedes-Benz cars are very wealthy people who have it made. One of my best friends mother drives a 2008 BMW 528i and they live in a mansion in the Hamptons.

I'm planing to get car in about 7 months or so just wanted to know if there's going to be a 2012 version of the genesis coup, also is the 3.8 r-spec a good middle ground between the 2.0t and the touring in both features and price?

@SpeakerZoNHigH The 3.8 rspec is a base model genesis with a 3.8 and a manual, no fancy features, but I think it still has bluetooth. yep there is supposed to be a refresh for 2012 i think with a bump in horsepower to 330 something thanks to direct injection.

Yeah, older cars are great. I love the American 80's cars like the 1977-1986 Fleetwood, the Camaro. It's a shame I live in Europe where a 1 litre blender is considered a car.

@PS2Gameplays Haha I hear ya bud, yeah i've been driving that roadmaster with the 350 LT1 v8 and you would be surprised how good the gas mileage is actually, it's really no real difference from the genesis, at least not a lot that is. I've driven hundreds of miles and actually save on gas because the tank is so big :)
