  • man ppl back then had soo many unforced errors. and let serves just go right pass them without atleast lunging for it

  • @millionairejh the racquets back then didn't allow people to take gigantic rips at the ball with amazing control like today, which is why they had more unforced errors back then

  • @cain2335 the racquets back in the 90s were still graphite and still the mid range or oversized we see today. federer uses a 90 square inch and does just fine in todays game..

  • @millionairejh they're not just make of graphite and kevlar anymore. they're made to give more control and power, unlike the racquets back in the 80's and 90's. and federer does fine in todays game bc of the spin potential he can use bc of the luxilon rough in his racquet. combine the modern racquet and strings with the slowness of the courts and balls, and you have the top players blasting away at balls practically sitting still
