  • that doesn´t look like wing chun anymore :S

how is a 50 year old woman supposed to fight like that ? in "real" wing chun they teach how to end a fight fast and with very few and clean movements + internal punches.

this might look all pretty fancy and effective and it probably is, no doubt. but i think it doesn´t involve the very basic idea of wing chun.

  • I don't think sifu's actions is as brutal as it looks.. the elbow hit the guy with a large area to disperse the energy.

  • @thedjaney2 duh. the purpose of this video is to show how to perform the damn thing not to destroy his sparing partner.

  • Great technique

  • I think the more important in this video is the way he hit with his elbow. It seems that this master train internal martial arts too. But i may be wrong :)

  • Cool shoes sifu!!

  • @dogooda12 Yeap, those yellow/black Onitsuka Tiger as B.L. Game of Death's!!!

  • @RicardoKooh yep nice one.

  • 0,25 the poor guy thinking: "OMG what a hurt!!! But i am strong, i am strong! It does't hurt, it doesn... COUGH COUGH!!! aaaaaaah...."

  • @valkaft yeah this sifu loves to hurt others...dun you think... he teaches wingchun with emotion just like one man from broken family u noe...

  • I ask you the same question : Did you read what i wrote ?

If you don't understand, just ask for precision.

There is many ways to fight, your way is not the way. Plus, many techniques are not for use against a pro fighter. It's for self defense.

A "little" question for you : what is a "fighter" ?

  • Another point is before doing your technique quickly, you have to learn and feel how to do it slowly.

  • Would that work agaisnt george st-pierre ?

  • @Kingcantine yes! on the streets it work perfectly

  • 0:24 - 0:25 poor guy :(

  • it is not about if someone will strike this or another way. it is about you like it or not. it is about control that you can have over your body first and then someone elses!!! But be 100% with training any martial art you have more chances to defend yourself under attack then with training your tongues!!!

  • He doesn't have any control

  • cam in greece

  • This looks good, but if you see this realistic somebody will not punch that way.

So the opponent gives you a punch and he reatret his punch, He will not pose for you. So when somebody is not posing is there still room for those combinations??

  • @minasz

These techniques are an expression of an idea. That is- IF you are attacked from that position, this a possible way to counter. Fights are very dynamic. Realisticly, people punch in any which way they can.

  • @beejdee Yes you R right about what you said. But you got to know that again nobody poses when they throw a punch. Meaning if they throw a punch it will not stand there for you to grab so easily. Offcourse you can follow with ellbows ect. But i feel this video should have been done without posing. Then its better to understand what the bodymovements are or could be.

  • @minasz What you say is true about any demonstration. But I know atleast for myself. I pause motions so I can discuss them when I am sharing my family fist with others. Of course if you are attacked there is no posing which is why you might teach this way so that the person can understand it very clearly and then ofcourse when they are under real pressure this is just their habit not memorized. With more skilled partner you may not need to pause because they already understand what is happening.

  • @minasz

This kind of technique is not meant to be executed at each opponent's blow. You have to wait an opportunity. That's why you have to learn how to control your opponent. If he move back after his punch, you have to follow him so that your technique is still available. I think the most important part in chinese martial arts is the way you move without loosing your balance and rooting. You can also force your opponent to loose balance so that you have time to punch.

    Move and keep control !

  • @furinkazan33 Did you read what i wrote, cuz this aint making any sense. And saying after his punch you should follow him shows to me that you R not a fighter. Never follow a punch. If you do that you get knocked out. Read my post please before commenting. Also saying the most import thing in chinese arts is the way you move ahahahah thats hilarious. All martial arts is about movement, mobility, power, flexibility, reaction, countering, attack and defense.

  • @furinkazan33 hey what do you think...dun chu think that this sifu too brutal. i seen mr wong he put the vest on. i see sifu angelos he extreme too but not like this...i think this one is over brutality... i seen chinese martial artist in wing chun style but this one far beyond that try to prove that he is superior or what?!

  • @harokahtajdid

I don't think so, because he was quite relax and didn't put energy in his movement. Martial arts are for defense, so your body have to receive punches with a minimum of power. Otherwise, in a real fight you won't be able to defend yourself. When i train with my master, i am often on the ground after receiving his punches. It do harm a little bit, but it never injure my body.

  • he doesnt look happy

  • hi there,i know i asked you before.but were can i go to sign up for your class.do you have a enrollment?and if so can you please get back to me thanks !!!!!!!!!and have a great day..

  • maby krav magma ist the one how like it self and work for well judges i know it is the name of baktrien go like tibetan avalokiteshwara and is ambivalent for dragonknights vlad tsepes who became ill after war so normaly krav magma chef wear red goat

  • dear dano do you mean to fettisch enemy to contoll live than what you do with controlled live ought to start free you must know sifu sergio is a serious guy he know the history while more people have god fun only so be sure you can take youre meditation although from his teachings well on

  • I had a sigh like you once

seems like you like to impress yourself more than you like to teach

  • This is funny, nobody I know punches behind themselves, they always face their opponents. Once you've been rotated off your center line, punches become ineffective and you should regain the center before attacking. I realize this is just a demo but it should be real world.

  • Its nice technique. I feel the ellebow should come from up to down. Then its also a block if their would be a fast hit to the face. Also an ellbow is with the ellbow and not with the forearm. But i would think you know that allready.

  • God damn, I'm the demostration guy for my master and I KNOW how that fellow feels like.... but hey, you get used to it.... it has its good sites too, hit me now and you'll see :D

  • That other guy must have nightmares. Or atleast fatigue from being the demonstration guy.

  • @cha0tic all part of the fun of a kung fu life

  • I have been to Sifu Sergio's seminars and enjoyed them very much, the other Master in this video is also extremely good but you do not get to see that. Good times....

  • Nice, similar to Krav Maga.

  • @gandresramirez

IF, then is krav maga similar to wingchun...

  • It is great to see a Master waering the traditional Chinese silk suit whilst teaching. The lack of friction actually helps you to move faster using the movements of Traditional Chinese Wing Tsun. I like to waer a black suit with a high collar with a red singlet underneath.

  • A piece of wood don't hit back.

  • Fantastic.

  • indeed, very fast and clean

  • fast, clean action, effective defence, control and attack... no redundant moves... just perfect!

  • very good

  • perfect elbow strike using relaxation and body mechanics, sending good willing volunteer to the other corner of the room, regards/santiago

  • A Very Fine Wing Chun Demo ! Thanks for sharing .

  • Good stuff.

  • Sifu Sergio ist the best!

  • nice clip!!

  • first to watch, first to comment...
