Use PVC valves instead of metal spigots!!!

They open full with a half turn,

They close just as easily

They connect with PVC easier

You can attach hose attachments with PVC threaded ends

very nice... folks dont know how little roof takes.i made one at my moms that is 8 by 10 roof.she has 15 or twenty roses and about 15 other plants and runs a soaker on another area without alot of rain and almost always has free water. people do it its rewarding .i have a vid up to.put it by a window or porch you want to see it and not get soaked. good job bear

yes for watering my garden only Don't worry i drain the barrel =-)
