@CLUMZYLB First of all they are both great bikes, but if your looking for a good reliable bike that will last you a long time I would go with with crf250r. On the other hand Kawasaki makes a really good 250f that has a stronger motor than the Honda and the suspension is much better and easier to adjust. So if I had to pick, Id go with the kx250f.

I think you should let kids that ride AMA and smaller test out bikes. It would really show how easy and rider friendly this bike is. Almost all reviews of this bike say its very easy to ride so I think you should let teenagers that race 250f's (like myself) ride it.

@gofast179 whats wrong with not having efi? You can actually work on a carb yourself, and the bike has more charactar. EFI is a joke. Sure, It doesent bog on big hits, it makes more hp, but its too smooth.

I have a 2007 Honda Crf150r (mini wheel), i'm 14 and not that tall, im 5'3 and weigh 98 lbs.. lightweight ;)

i was going to make my 150 a big wheel but it was going to cost around 2000 dlls, so id rather get a 250. Anyone have any suggestions, i was also thinking the 2011 crf250r but people say only bad things about it

@XxBones96 Id say dont get a 250f at all. Get a 125, ride it for a year or 2. Start working out to gain muscle weight, and then when you turn 15, get a 250 2 stroke. Im 14, im 5'8 180 and I ride an 09 yz450. Ive had 125's, 250f's. 250 2 stroke's and this is my first 450.

then i race motcross for the training and just cause i love it/ tried supercross 2 weeks ago and here i am typing with a broken arm.

what do you think is better crf 250r or the kx250f?

@XxBones96 if you race desert get a kx500. 250f's have no top speed what so ever. But if you insist on getting a 4 stroke, get a yz450. IF it has to be a 250f, go with KTM. The Kawi has a very "unbalanced" feel to it at high speeds. For the Honda, Ive ridden my buddys 2010 with stage 3 hotcam, yoshi exhaust, efi auto-mapping, etc etc. It was very revvy and tends to have very little power down low but TONNS up top. Like I said though, If you ride mainly desert, get a cr500 or a yz450 (2010/2011)

@justinyoface911 U can change the powerband by changing the preset maps or settings using Kawasaki's programing tool on a computer, the 7 maps would be different low-mid-top end power ratios, all is changed through Kawasaki's electronic fuel injection. Hope that helps :P

@XxpaintballxXx honda is like a 2 stroke it burns your oil like a mother and is a high rever like a 2 stroke so out of a corner to get good speed ou need to already be reivin and usually needs a little tweeking to fit your style, but if thats your style than choose the honda the kawa has very good bottom end so out of the corner fast and less tweekin to gt it where mos riders prefer
