thanks lise for post this awesome video again i am waiting to watch that oratorio which consider the turning point of jaroussky music career gerard lesne discovered jaroussky and introduce him in ambronay festival 1999 then this oratorio is remarkable thanks for posting you are amazing musician hope to see il santi alessio interview with jaroussky
By the way, Lise, this is not Mark Padmore (like in the recording), but Joseph Cornwell. The other difference between recording and live performances (in Royaumont and Ambronay) is Raimonds Spogis as Nabucco (live), instead of Peter Harvey (studio).
*O* I love jaroussky !!!!!! and want the aria caro figlio/madre cara too!!!!

Thank you a lot, dear lisou40 !!!!
I like this version much better than the one from CD ! It´s much tender and virtuous...)))
Philippe´s voice....so fresh, shining and young! And he with Gerard Lesne are really suitable as father and son!)))

I can't find the libretto for this oratorio so, if anyone could tell me where I can find it, it would be fantastic!

Thanks, Lise. So young, and already such a good musician.
And see how Gérard Lesne looks at him at 0:59! Hehehe. Fabulous.
