  • Congratulation Wayne this is an incredible job. One question: what about places to stock your liners ships? You need to live in Versaille, i wonder!

    Bravo from France!

  • exelent!

  • Thank you very much!

  • haha "a ship load of patience* yeah I know what u wanted to say!!

  • You never know, 200,000 tiny toothpicks can do a big job!

  • LoL, "A ship load of patients"

  • you are very talented i'm am impreesed i never knew somebody could do this. How long did it take

  • you meant titanic

  • this guy has NO FVCKING LIFE, GET A GIRL AND STO PWASTING UR LIFE ON BUILDING BOATS OUT OF TOOTHPICKS!

  • @udontnoudontno

The stuff holding it together ain't Elmer's glue. It's Kuzy's goo.

  • Damn that's impressive! I build floating ship models out of cardboard, the longest one I have is 9 feet. I'm working on drafting a 15 foot model now. Excellent work!

  • @Photog422 do you have them posted on YouTube?

    Thanks for the compliments!

  • @snorky500 No nothing on YouTube, I just have several construction photos.

  • @Photog422 I am sure they want to keep it secret. It was like that for the Queen Mary 2. It was hard to find photos of it for the first year. They are probably afrraid of terror or something

  • It'd be my luck to drop a lit cigarette inside while building it

  • wonder if it flots XD but the life boats might for a few mins but it wil maby leak

  • This guy is amazing!

  • But will it blend?

  • not crazy, not talented, but WOW!

  • sink it

  • lol omg how much did the toothpicks cost??? O_O

  • @ZZgS

Good question! about $150 in toothpicks. Another $50 in paint and glue.

  • just watch out for that toothpick iceberg.

  • @trevorbun22 Wow, ICEBURG??????

  • @whsiriotx what about it?

  • @cokefan3 Lusitania didnt hit an ice burg

  • those are popsicle sticks...dumbasses

  • Now that is dedication.. Awesome

  • @LordJespersen thanks!

  • that is TRUELY EPIC!! awesome work man!

  • @whatwhere thanks!!!!

  • WHOA! LUSITANIA made by 194,000 toothpicks???? and TITANIC?????

  • @morningmoon18

    Titanic 75,000

    Queen Mary 814,000 toothpicks

  • @snorky500 I am really impressed on you, you are really talented. You built a Lusitania 16-feet long, with hundred eighty nine thousand toothpicks. Even Titanic. Cunard Lines and White Star Line will be impressed to you.

  • im impressed, that is talent, this is an insperation to make my britannic look even better.

  • HOLY SHIT that is epic

  • Not impressed......Now if he used dental floss that'd be sumthin!

  • man it stinks that german submarines sunk it leading to United States wanting to join ww1 and fight em

  • omg that is amazing wow i wanna see it so bad and picture and autograph with the builder! wow where is this plz!

  • Those kids are smart! Can't find one today that's heard of hoere d'ouevres let alone can say it....

wait, not sure I spelled it right??

  • Your spelling came close enough. The only thing alot of kids know today is 'SuperSize it". Thanks for your comment!

  • Very impressive, yet something tells me that guy's single...

  • imagine, if someone set it on fire

  • wow nice model

  • thanks

  • lol i just wanna see that break so bad

  • Wow Im impressed!!!!

  • Totally cool! Bravo!

  • haha, how does that kid know what h'orderves are lmao

  • There are 2 ships there. The big one that splits in half is the Lusitania. The smaller one is the Titanic. The Lusitania breaks into 2 pieces for transport.

  • He's a little crazy and very talented.

  • freaking awesome!

does the titanic model float? since it breakes up,i think it would be awesome to see it sink, again

  • No it doesn't float. Because it is made from Elmers Glue, it would probably sink faster than the real ship!

    Thanks for your compliments!

  • does the model still exist?

    or is it broken?

  • The big one is on exhibt at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimmore MD and the Titanic is on exhibit at the Phil Harmonic Museum in Naples FL

  • Brillent model the guty is really good

  • its like a palistinian runs in with a sledge hammer.. "ALLAH!!!!!" swings it *crash* and the whole thing is destroyed.

  • Haha, I can't even build a 1:350 kit without screwing up the paintjob. And that has instructions for crying out loud.

    Great vid.

  • thats pretty freaken amazing

  • i cant do that. its so cool!

  • omg!!!!

    awesome

    i lOve bOy!!!

  • wow!

  • omg

  • The Lusitania and the Mauretania was the fastest steamers with 26 knots maximum speed. They had turbine steam engines.

  • Not until the Blue Riband was caught, not from the anticipated Cunard line (such as the Mauretania) but an Italian built "Rex" which won after Cunard had held the Riband for 20 years.

It would be amazing if today's manufacturing lines would consider building a Cunard ship up to exact spec or a White Star ship to spec (minus the obvious design flaws) and launch for Transatlantic use. I wonder if the luxury of today would exceed that of the luxury then.

  • The Lusitania was the best and more advanced Transatlantic ship of their time. Also the fastest steamer. That steamer was the inspiration for J. Bruce Ismay for build Olympic & Titanic.

The Lusitania had an unjust final. Leutnant Schwieger (U20 submarine) was a murder.

  • You know your steamers very well. The Lusitania and Mauretania were very sleek designed ships too.

  • Yes, I read some information about those ships in Internet. In Youtube are a movie of the Lusitania in 11 videos available.

  • i dont think thats crazy that smart

  • Thank you mucho!! Gracias!!

  • How did you build that????????????

  • Lots of toothpicks and 5 gallons of Elmers Glue, and some Titebond II to top it all off...

  • The man has talent alright ........ and an unesscacarily huge ammount of spare time

  • lol that last kid that spoke had a very high voice! and wow it's bloomin good!

  • He has the voice to be in a rock band.

  • the guys talking about legos that is one thing your supposed to build stuff with legos but this is more awesome then that because it tooth picks

  • awesome art skills, you are a master to toothpick construction, and i am a master of lego ship building

  • Have any them online or on YouTube??

  • no, i did construct the Titanic, Lusitania, Britannic out of Legos and also Electric tape for the hull and the funnels

  • Im not doubting that you did it, I believe you. If you haven't already, you should put vids of them on YouTube. There are others who also work with Legos. When I was a kid, I went bonkers over them. They're GREAT stuff!

  • we'll see, itll take days to get them videoed and put on, i might take pictures and get them on youtube by video

  • Oh wow. :3 I wish I had that skill...In anything. x3!

  • wow talk about dedication!

  • Comment removed

  • Kudos man, my ship only took 18 weeks, but then again, it was only 3 feet long & made entirely of paper products, lol

  • Thanks alot!

    Wayne

  • No Problem at all, as your ships are really impressive.

It was hard enough making mine, so I can only imagine trying to make one of yours, lol

  • the man so into doin his ships he aint had a hair cut lmao

  • 1:18 drops it lol

  • is he using the flat toothpicks or the round ones?

  • wait did i hear this right took 60 yrs? you don't look that old... lol but damn thats amazing

  • The big one took 2 1/2 yrs and the smaller took 1 yr

  • 6 years....

    6.

  • i will be more impressive if he use "used toothpicks" i mean it! from the restaurants...anywhere... lol!

  • I love Titanic. (Nie znam angielskiego)

  • Very impressive.

  • thx!

  • amazing and crazy !!

  • ¿Are you gonna build the Yamato or the Bismarck too?.

  • I like ocean liners, not war ships. War ships are cool to look at, but ocean liners are more of a challenge to me.

  • Aha. My favorite is the Titanic. Because its history,

its outside design and especially its inside offering all the luxury. And all this in 1912. I would say that the Titanic was ahead of its time.

  • The Titanic was a castle on water. 6 months after the Titanic sank, the Germans would launch the Imperator, bigger than the Titanic, but with the same technical design.

  • Yes, I have see it on a Youtube video. You are right, it is very similar to the Titanic. Nice Ship.

  • You are an artist. Really good job. Well done. Five stars for you *****.

  • Thank you! coming from you, that is a compliment!

  • Your welcome.

  • Nice job. Your Titanic is a little inaccurate but thats okay.

  • That was my first REAL ship. It had a few flaws. But the Lusitania is much better.

  • Your right. Nice job though.

  • I LOVE YOU when are we going to the movies hun

  • Thanks for the inspiration, but I may be a little too old for ya. It's the thought that counts though!!! Thanks - Wayne

  • I LOVE YOU

  • Are you freakin serious?!!!!! Holy crap man!

  • someone find this guy a girlfriend?

    i mean.. damn?

  • u know wut would suck. if yo droped it. THAT WOULD SUCK

  • I did drop it once. Not too much happened. A little repair job. They are alot stronger than they look, or as one might think, since they are made from toothpicks.

  • can you build a model of olympic, titanics sister ship or maybe the Mauretania the lusitanias sister ship out of toothpicks??

  • I can build plenty of plastic models.

  • I wouldn't dare say he is crazy, i would say he is very talented he must be mad on ships. And that is his interest, so i wouldn't judge him.

  • aaaaaaaaaoooooooo!!! i say talented ad crazey!!!

  • Man I'd love to own that!

  • man!!! you are not crazy... that thing is impressively awesome. All I have is an eight inch balsa wood rc boat I built out of scratch. lol took me 3 hours not 60 years!!!

  • Thank you very much. I didnt' think I was THAT nutz...

  • I miss the titanic

  • I miss it too... boo hoo

  • yeah me too!! even though I never saw her I will allways miss her. But as long as Titanic is in my heart and that is all that matters!

  • Wonderful, simply wonderful! The world could use a lot more "characters", and I mean that in the very best sense of the word, like you.

How about the SS United States. I once sailed on her.

  • Actually, I am currently working on it's sister ship, the SS American Star. It has a very interesting shipwreck story, that you can find on YouTube. To see what i am currently doing, my website is in the 'more info..' section to the right of the screen.

    Thanks, for you generous compliments!

  • snorky500 mate fanfuckingtastic!

you have a damm good eye for detail

seen all your videos of your ships and you have got them dead right! well done mate!

  • Thank you very much!!! Next ship on deck is the SS American Star.

  • amazing work. thats good detail.

  • thank you

  • Gosh, you are seriously talented. I'd be proud of myself if i'd manage to build a house of toothpicks. I really admire you!

  • Many Many thanks. I saw your profile from Norway. Did you know there was an SS Norway that was recently scrapped??

  • Yep, i was aware of that..you should make a model of it, that would be really cool! :) What you up to now? You working on something?

  • Currently, I am working on the SS American Star for 2 art exhibits. That ship can be found here on YouTube. It was wrecked in the Canary Islands on a beach for all tourists to see. there of videos of it here on YouTube.

  • Wow, all I have to say is a huge BRAVO, congratulations for your talent and patience. I'd really like to visit the museum and see the ships closely.

  • Thanks much, this video was shot over 10 years ago. Currently, the Lusitania (the big one) is now at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. The Titanic is in Florida, at the Phil Harmonic Museum. Queen Mary is currently in a model museum in Sadorus IL. I am working on the SS American Star. You can find the real ship here on YouTube, and see work in progress pics on my website mentioned above right. Thanks for the post - Snorkz

  • dude your awesome!!

  • thanks!

  • what the next ship you are going to build

    dude

  • SS American Star, 13 feet and already 75,000 toothpicks and counting (not done yet). It is a very interesting ship wreck in which you will find it here on YouTube, just use SS American Star as your search words.

  • hey think u can make titanic or brititac

  • I have one already built. If you look at the video, you can see that there are 2 ships. The smaller one is the Titanic. I have the Britanic on my wish list

  • you gave a new meaning to the word

    art an craft

  • thanks!!! WK

  • he is COOL

  • he has NO life

  • Thats crazy!!!!!!!

  • I admire that cause i dont have the paitence to glue them together and that

  • can i have your lustiana if you can make one again? anyways great :D

  • Hmmmmm... Well, I'll think about it...

    (jokingly) Wayne

  • youre talented...!!! excellent!

  • After watching this video today,I sat down and tried to make a toothpick out of a ship and I screwed it all up.

  • That would be REALLY hard. Let me know when you are done though. Or better yet, post it on YouTube!!

  • the way you make the inside is amazing the fact you could 4 bowlling balls on the top is amazing

  • Yes, I have to make them sturdy to withstand the stresses of time itself among other things - Wayne

  • skateforzero357:i bet you havent got your skatebord isnt in a musem if he wanted he could sell thease models he could get $100.000 just for the lustania how much could you get for skatebording $10.00/£10.00 and just think how much money time and efort went into making the ships

  • Thank you Mr. Lusitania0172, I'm glad someone sticks up for me around here! (ha ha). Actually, everyonce in a while I sell one. They are hard to sell to individual buyers, because of their size. But, they get me a lot of exposure, nationally and internationally. thanks for your comment! Wayne

  • man when i saw the vid it was like looking like the realy lusitania im a big fan on the lusitania six years is hell of along time ot make a 16ft long toothpick liner and have it come a part like the way YOU made it god you are the toothpick ship maker master it looks like the realy thing i thought it was made of plastic but little thing can make alot bigger things i hope when you make another ship try to make bigger than the qm2 i would love to see that

  • Wow, those two ships are absolutely fantastic. Brilliant craftsmanship. You are an inspiration.

  • Nathan, your comment reappeared! But thanx again. Wayne

  • thats cool but i bet he doesnt have a life

  • btw... is that you holding the model up at 2:12

  • yes, that is I, Wayne

  • dude that is really good. hell of a job. i wouldnt even be able to do that for my life. once again hell of a job

  • *trip*

  • ill probably make a lifeboat out of tooth picks thats cool

  • the ship was split like the Titanic. between the third and fourth funnel.

  • Sorry for the delay. The Lusitania is built into sections to move up and down stairs. Many mistaken it as the Titanic. They both had 4 funnels.

  • this guy is amazing! his queen mary is my favorite.

  • Thank you very much! The QM1 is still a HUGE ship considering it was built in 1936. It is one of my favorites too!

    Wayne

  • lol kool thats awesome but now every time i see a toothpick i will think of the lusitania

  • wayne have you heard of the ss nomadic by chance?

  • I am somewhat familiar with it. I have to admit that I googled it to find out. I think I remember seeing the Nomadic in the Sein many years ago when I was in Paris. I also believe it may have been anchored in the Thames close to Westminster. Do you have any updates of the American Star. I am in the process of building it. Already have 2 exhibits promised for it. 13 feet and almost 40,000 toothpicks and counting

  • 40,000 well keep up the good work i cant wait to see that one

when you say updates you mean is the american star still around? well some people have been saying that the wreck has finally dissapeared by now but i cant confirm it yet.
