  • That's funny....you guys want stuff from the states and I want the gear options you all have, such as the Darche Hybrid. Grass is always greener I suppose.

  • @Pizznad Hello mate, I have a friend who owns a darche hybrid, a nice little tent and great value.

  • @phrayzar Great value if you live there. Costs 60 bucks to ship here, doubling the cost. I really like the design though. I'll keep looking for a deal. Thanks.

  • Do u care a cutting tool or multitool?

  • @juwright1949 I have either a opinel, a leatherman skeletool cx or a squirt. I may also carry a helle harding, or a condor bushlore.

  • Brilliant :-) Excellent camera work.

  • @yodaquicksilver Thanks mate, surprising what you can do with a stick pic and hiking pole.

  • mate where are you in NSW mate im from canberra bud. nice video by the way

  • @SEVEREstarcraft Hello mate. I live in the Sydney area. Safe travels my friend.

  • Glad you found it useful.

  • Small packs are good. I use a 3 day assault backpack and to kit it out for winter I just attach my cold weather gear to the pack. I put my quilts, sleeping bag, ect in stuff sack bags then use the strapping on the bag to hold them in place.

  • not to be rude but i think i can go lighter with a hiking pack, haversack and canteen holder all out of recycled rice bags. but your video is very nice i like yer camel pack

  • @dogbone222 This sounds interesting, Could you post a video of it, Thanks for your comment, stay safe.

  • I hope it was helpfull to you, no worries mate.

  • thanks for the vid, made me consider my summer "container"/backpack, im Danish but the Danish summer is also either very hot and dry, or hot and wet.

    thanks again

  • I'm trying to switch to UL backpacking for the summer. Thanks for the good advice.

  • nice video mate, nice to see wat other peoples set up is like and from different places in the world

  • @Burletonboy Thanks for the comment.

  • Well done Mate! You have a lot of great gear there in a nice load. Everything you need in 10lbs that's great. Hope to get there myself before I do my next long overnight. There are some great guys here on You Tube for sure. Less than a year ago I knew next to nothing about backpacking. I have learned a great deal from the gang here. I suspect I'll pick up a few ideas from you too. Possibly even just using a bag liner instead of a full sleeping bag. Temps get pretty warm here in California too.

  • Very good weight for the size pack you carry. And you have all the essentials covered. Thought you were going through my pack there for a moment. Good to know I'm on the right track with what I pack.

  • Nice kit enjoy your summer we are enjoying winter 19 ° F
