  • do you have 24 hours 7 days week?

  • Howdy, Tramp here. Thanks for watching this! Making this video was big fun. Walking in the water wasn't so great cause we all had our boots patched with duct tape and our feet got cold. I'm a coal miner in KY now. Ironic isn't it? Underground they call me "Mike"y

.Next Show: I'm playing a 1 hour set of 17th and 18th century fiddle tunes on 04/02/2011 at 3 PM at the park in downtown Uniontown, KY. Solo, acoustic

    Peace, Mike "Tramp" Lawing

  • just wanted to give you a shout to let you I apreciate this good cover, my mama us to pick a guitar and sing a little about 40 years ago, and this is the song that I remember, thanks for the posting, this son never goes out of style, there are just differenent talented artists that do their take on this song.

  • Great version! Gotta love someone who actually does their own thing with a song instead of just copying the original.

And before you "purists" get your panties in a wad. Tennesee Ernie Ford did a Go-Go version of the song back in the 60's.

  • Awful.

  • Old School Nashville Cowpunk Flashback

  • Cool video! It's so fun seeing Tramp again. --We need to petition him to return to music...

Tramp, come down outta those KY hills, museums and mills and start making music again, we Miss You!

  • God bless and let mineral miners soon be making the green union wage have credible safety on the job. Maybe there ought to be a union?

  • Tramp Rocks

  • Tramp WAS working at the museum. not anymore. It's kind of sad, he's not doing too much with music anymore.

  • Great sound, unique and full of style!

  • Its off their self-titled disc "the Cactus Brothers," I think in the early '90s. Also, a killer cover of the Everly Brothers "The Price of Love." These guys were great and also went by Walk the West, with a rocker sound.

  • where can i get this song from its sooooo coool i cant belive im inlove with it but i cant find the song anywhere pls help me !!!

  • What is Tramp doing now? He was great with Bonepony?

  • Tramp works with the bluegrass museum in Owensboro, KY these days, I believe.

  • Has some good time at Main Street in The Boro.

Freakin , balls to the wall loud ass sound.

    Good Times.

  • haha! this was awsome!

Will and Jon Goleman from this band are now in Spirit DoG. if you search for them on here you can find their first video for the song Well or check them out on myspace!

  • I think this is the best version i have heard. Your dad IS cool!

  • Hahahaha.

My dad thinks he's sooo cool in this. (Tramp)

  • i seen this band in chillicothi, ohio.they rocked!!

  • I played in a band in the 90's where we covered their version of "Sixteen Tons". Does anyone have a clip of "Crazy Heart"? It's sad that their appearance in "Pure Country" didn't help to boost their career.

  • Fantastic!! I love it!!

  • Nice touch with TN Ernie in the video....I always wanted to do a heavier version of this tune...they pulled it off!

  • this band is like "Blues Hammer" in the movie Ghost World

  • Me Likey!!!! I've alway loved this song (I knew the original from when I was a kid!) They could have been big. I've been looking for thier song "Right a Great Country Wrong" from the movie "Pure Country"...

  • i liked ernie ford in d video

  • Nice! 8-)
