Remember seeing these guys playing in late seventy's. we had One huge concert around 79-80 BOC  never made it to the stage. Due to a major monsoon storm we had in phx. but the show was awesome lighting flashing Thunder roaring all around us as the storm rolled in. it was also the very 1st lalaballooza concert which started at Compton Terrace phx az . by the time BOC was to come on stage it started to pour. but you couldn't ask for a better back drop that mother nature give us that night..

And BTW, 1991 was when I began seriously listening to BOC. I have since seen seen them in concert 3 times, met them backstage and even got 2 CDs signed by none other than Buck Dharma himself. The band is one of the greatest live bands ever, and Buck Dharma is a perfect gentleman. Plus, he still kicks major ass on guitar. :-)

@420jim I saw them in Hollywood at the now long gone Starwood Club on Santa Monica Blvd/Cresent Heights in 1978. The club held around 200 fans, and I was in the very front with my arms resting on the stage and the lead singers mic stand between them. And yes, they went under the moniker of SWU. Saw Judas Priest there also the year before when they weren't very well known, met the band backstage, became friends, and still remain friends to this day, after all these years.
