The game doesn't come with a patch. Google Sherlock Software & download babyza & it should work with XP. As for vista, don't install in in Program Files. Install it in documents, etc.

@starliight54, You'll need a cheat program for Petz and Babyz called PetzA. You can get it at Sherlock Software. It will download a patch so the sounds are fixed. I'm sure it works as i play on Windows 7.

The game will start up fine after this, and allow you to adopt a baby like normal (no more lock up). You can also leave the sounds enabled, and still get most of the sound affects and you can still hear your baby as well this way.

Hi, I loved the game Babyz and now watching videos of it it seems cool still but the oldest computer in my house is an XP and whenever I go on it locks up and doesn't respond! How do I get it to work? Is it the same as what you said?

Actually I found out all you do is download a baby, copy and paste it to your adoptions folder, and BAM! Easy. Very easy.

Its a game, but you can go on the Babyz website jsut type babyz in google and it'll come up if you want a demo. But you have to buy it if you want it

there's not an updated game or anything, but if you google it, you can find patches so you can have the sound on.

i have a toshiba laptop,that i think runs on vista. i installed the babyz game and then when i clicked on it to play on it, it asked me to type in my babyz name and my username, i did this and then the game just froze and said that it's not respondin. i wish it didn't do this because i woud really like to play on it because i love this game!! can anybody help me at all? x
