naruto learned giant rasengan how to control three tails of the nine tails (although it was kinda unnatural) and he learnd how to break genjutsu. and with sasuke he learned how to use kirin , use sharingan fully, how to use his sword and how to manipulate chidori. so with the 2 biggest characters they did learn quite a bit after the time skip

I love how One Piece, in 2 days, has more thumbs up than Naruto does in a week. Also, Luffy's made of rubber, so punches and rasengans won't work on him (after all rotating Luffy's body doesn't mean much, it can be twisted however you like). The only moves I can see possibly working are the tailed beast bomb and rasenshuriken, though trying to land any attacks on Luffy would be pretty hard. Though, they're in two different worlds so you can't really compare in the end... XD

The twists & foreshadowing in One Piece is better. The development is better. Naruto's story is no darker than One Piece's. Yeah I forgot he trained how to use the fox against Haku. Luffy had an explanation, he said "I have a new technique I wanna try out" and after the fight he said "as I thought it causes damage to myself."

Naruto's timeskip failed, he came back from two years only to learn a bigger rasengan and train again with kakashi only after 2 arcs LOL. Neji was right about destiny, Naruto contradicted himself in the beginning. The pain arc ending sucked, it makes no sense for him to revive everyone when he devoted his life to killing for peace.

Naruto learned nothing all he did was change his clothes and continue his futile mission of chasing after someone who could give to shits about him. Because of the fact that he cares for them he made the decision to get stronger.

I was a big Naruto fan at one time and I still think it's a good series, but after a while the charcters became boring to the point of annoyance. It's been a lot better for a while now but I still hesitate to start following it again because of how bad it seemed to get. At around that time I got interested in One Piece. It's more cartoonish and takes itself less seriously as a whole and still manages to have a better plot and character development than Naruto. They're both good, but I prefer OP.

Art wise well first lets looks at that fact that OP is older then Naruto and used a style similar to the very successful Dragonball. Second lets look at the fact that OP is more unique overall and doesn't have generic designs. Story line + Story development = OP hands down. Character development = OP. Manliness = Whitebeard. I'll agree that at first naruto would grab more people's attention by the way its looks. But I think it depends on what arc you introduce somebody into these two. Like if it's at the first chapter then most people would definitely go for Naruto. But if it was later on then it could possibly be a tough decision because the art for both gets better as the story goes on. I personally like One Piece better but I like reading them both among others.

Naruto was cool for the first season (minus the fillers), and it was cool to the point of the Akatsuki thing. It hit a big slump in the fillers. It picked up from the point Madara and Tobi were introduced. Now, it's okay cause a big war's coming up.
One piece was cool until the arc where they landed on Moria's Island. The whole ace execution arc thing was awesome (it gave some variety from the standard Straw Hat crew adventure).
The whole world of naruto vs one piece? I'm going with Naruto. here is why. Naruto Have too many powerful People in his side that can demolish One piece. Naruto six paths, Killer bee, 5 kages, Jiraya(sage mode), Sasuke, Itachi, Tobi, Kabutomaru ect. One Piece only have The straw hat crew, White beard, Shanks, The 7 warloads of the sea, and Gold roger. i agree with forneverworld that when it comes to first impression, naruto would win but theres a lot more to one piece than most ppl realize. As the series progresses, not only does the artwork develop into something more suitable for older audiences but so does the story. We see civil war in alabasta, a corrupt government in the cp9 saga, discrimination on fishman island and much more.

I love how One Piece, in 2 days, has more thumbs up than Naruto does in a week. Also, Luffy's made of rubber, so punches and rasengans won't work on him (after all rotating Luffy's body doesn't mean much, it can be twisted however you like). The only moves I can see possibly working are the tailed beast bomb and rasenshuriken, though trying to land any attacks on Luffy would be pretty hard. Though, they're in two different worlds so you can't really compare in the end... XD

Naruto has a good plot , One piece has differnt kind of character development.
Umm Naruto is Harry Potter series where as One piece is Lord of the Rings.
I started being a great fan of Naruto but i think the characterization and voice of Monkey D Luffy is far better. The twists & foreshadowing in One Piece is better. The development is better. Naruto's story is no darker than One Piece's. Yeah I forgot he trained how to use the fox against Haku. Luffy had an explanation, he said "I have a new technique I wanna try out" and after the fight he said "as I thought it causes damage to myself."

Naruto's timeskip failed, he came back from two years only to learn a bigger rasengan and train again with kakashi only after 2 arcs LOL. Neji was right about destiny, Naruto contradicted himself in the beginning. The pain arc ending sucked, it makes no sense for him to revive everyone when he devoted his life to killing for peace.

I was a big Naruto fan at one time and I still think it's a good series, but after a while the charcters became boring to the point of annoyance. It's been a lot better for a while now but I still hesitate to start following it again because of how bad it seemed to get. At around that time I got interested in One Piece. It's more cartoonish and takes itself less seriously as a whole and still manages to have a better plot and character development than Naruto. They're both good, but I prefer OP.

I'll agree that at first naruto would grab more people's attention by the way its looks. But I think it depends on what arc you introduce somebody into these two. Like if it's at the first chapter then most people would definitely go for Naruto. But if it was later on then it could possibly be a tough decision because the art for both gets better as the story goes on. I personally like One Piece better but I like reading them both among others.

Naruto was cool for the first season (minus the fillers), and it was cool to the point of the Akatsuki thing. It hit a big slump in the fillers. It picked up from the point Madara and Tobi were introduced. Now, it's okay cause a big war's coming up.
One piece was cool until the arc where they landed on Moria's Island. The whole ace execution arc thing was awesome (it gave some variety from the standard Straw Hat crew adventure).

The whole world of naruto vs one piece? I'm going with Naruto. here is why. Naruto Have too many powerful People in his side that can demolish One piece. Naruto six paths, Killer bee, 5 kages, Jiraya(sage mode), Sasuke, Itachi, Tobi, Kabutomaru ect. One Piece only have The straw hat crew, White beard, Shanks, The 7 warloads of the sea, and Gold roger. Number wise of strength, Naruto wins by a hand full.

@NyanNation69 You look at haki I look at six paths. Haki and six paths are the same. they are different people that have different hakis. you are right with that however, In the naruto manga, Naruto just completely control the nine tails( chakara). It's like how killer bee it with the Eight tails. You know how much speed naruto have and strength? Also plus the sage mode. That is power among levels. Luffy only have sec gear haki(speed) third Gear(power). Naruto is among luffy man

You do realize that naruto has like 250000 more fans than One Piece so this "war" is pointless. though I just wanna say that i watched all of naruto, followed for like 10 weeks after that and got bored of it. Same thing with bleach but one piece i've follow atleast 2 years. Now i'm just one person but you asked about opinions so there you go. oh and one piece has like 100 times better and inspiring battles. :S

i agree with forneverworld that when it comes to first impression, naruto would win but theres a lot more to one piece than most ppl realize. As the series progresses, not only does the artwork develop into something more suitable for older audiences but so does the story. We see civil war in alabasta, a corrupt government in the cp9 saga, discrimination on fishman island and much more.
