Yeah, the music was some of the best out of all of the Doom ports (the PSX version is in a different category).
Too bad the framerate was completely and utterly unacceptable. Really, this was the first console to be designed for 3D and yet Doom ran at roughly 10fps? That's a hell of a rush job :(
This version is like it's half-way between the original version and the PSX version.

@1300l Likely a CD soundtrack. Because it has reverb and all that stuff. MIDI can do it, but not very well.
