You gotta think, WWII was the defining moment of the world for the 20th century, the whole world was completely different in September of 1945 than it was in September of 1939. oh c'mon! this is one of the best movies I've seen. seriously. im 19 and I luv my cinema from lawrence of arabia to spiderman 3 and everyfin inbetween. Theres so much shyte in cinemas now, films with more CGI than sense and altho there were many great films in 2006 this is one of the few gems that deserved alot more notice. I appreciate Soderburgh's vision, Clooney brings such a strong presence - he's great as the eyes of the audience. Oh and as for Blanchett...seems like she can do no wrong.
