Did George Lynch purposely play in the wrong key after the solo to piss Don off? It sure sounded that way...haha.

the solo was in the right key. George popped a string right after the solo.

Yep, that super high bend right at the end did it. Pop a string on a floyd-equipped axe and it's over, no way to keep on going without changing guitar.
