@6stringsbrainfingers Thanks, Bro! I look forward to check out your other VH videos. I am on a Van Halen kick again with the new album coming out. From what I've hear so far, it is KILLER and Eddie is back, big time!
DUDE!.....Well, 1ST, THANKS, of course...then...HOW THE F*CK?!!...Yeah, it looks simple NOW, but HOW THE HELL DID YOU FIGURE THAT OUT?..I could hear he was doing harmonics, I knew he was using 12 , 7, and 5 all these years, but exacly HOW, was beyond me, too fast..did you discover, by accident, or slow it down,? Even Eddie says it..his stuff is not super-complicated Neapolitan Hungaria Locrian scales, it's the blues, with a LOT of imagination. You're AWSOME!- Mean streets WAS always MY FAVE!
@mikkespo1 Thanks, I really appreciate that and glad it helped. I slowed it down, watched other players, and sifted through a lot of horribly in-accurate tabs, to eventually get it figured out. I've always loved this too, and I had a hard time with just what the hell was going on for years of trying. Got it locked in now, and love playing it! Thanks so much for watching and the great comment. seyalator! :)
@MaDbEN1995 Gain=5.75, Bass=6, Middle=6, Treble=4, contour=5, Reverb=4, Master volume= 2. No pedals, just amp. With the Fender you would probably have to use a distortion pedal I think?. Good luck, and thanks for watching man! :)
@evhfrankie Thank you for the comment dude!.. I have a lot of VH tunes I have to do lessons for 1st,.. but I love that song too, so hopefully sometime I'll be able to get around to it. Thanks again bro, I really appreciate the feedback and interest. VH RULES!
Very cool video! Nice breakdown and very clear instructions. Love it. If you have some time, check out my review of Eddie's new Wolfgang Special :)

That piece is a prime example of what our minds are capable of creating with conditioning and buttloads of work. It begins n ends w/ Eddie.
