difficult to objectively judge for me.... welll I'm not into this kind of music.

Anyway for the video I'd go for faster cuts, zoom in and outs and face close-ups. It might feel a little bit distracting, but I guess it'd fit with the music - generally I'd increase the frequency of changes on the screen.

I so envy you for the thing you do. If I could choose another occupation, I would definitely go for editing school.

Anyway...first thought that crossed my mind was: "Where is her artistic touch I like so much?" But as I read in your comments, your camera work will be judged. And considering that fact, I have to say you did an awesome job.

Ik ben geen Fries, dus ik versta niet alles ervan, maar vind het zeker voor 2 JVC camera's erg goed gedaan! Ik hoop dat je een mooi cijfer krijgt!

Bedankt!! nee het is geen Fries het Weststellingwerfs. Het is een soort van mix tussen Fries en plat Nederlands :D

I like the clips you chose, the color and the lighting. Having seen and been a fan of your Voyager vids though, especially "Leave out all the Rest" and "Your Game," I was hoping for a little more artsy effect work. Any reason you chose to go more traditional on this one?

Well I choose to go more traditional because it is a school project and I will not only be juged on editing but also on filming and lights. So thats why.

@Bloempje721 Just rewatched this and wanted to comment again on the lighting. I think that is this video's strongest quality. I really like your use of contrast. Also, the effects on the lead singer's close ups. Very nice. :)

Oh, I forgot to ask: what editing program did you use? Did you get to use your own software or had the school assigned you with something you had to use? (We're supposed to use FinalCut Pro once we get to editing sometime this week hopefully)

Thanx!! the lighting was really dificult because it was the first time that I used lights. So It's great to hear that it looks good:D

Well I decided to use my own editing program Sony Vegas. I could have edited the video on school with adobe premiere but I like vegas better because I know how to use it better.

And I would love to see a project from you soon:D

The band seems a bit anemic -especially the drummer- but that is beside the point. x) I think the editing is great as well as the lighting, can only hope to manage to do half as well when I have to start working on similar projects :) Great work! :D
