  • These were the slowest fairies I ever seen in my life!!! Wow!

  • i like the dress pink :}

  • I've always been scared during the time Aurora(?) walks the stairs with the dramatic music in the back. Let's se if I can watch it this time, 4 years since last time I saw this, without closing my eyes and plogging my ears.. ^^

  • I LOVE this movie! The dragon is awesome. My friend would draw it when she was little. :) Upon a dream <3 The fairies are funny :) lol

  • I'm a disney fan! LOVED to watch this and happy to be able to watch this on youtube!

  • I love this film. They need to bring it out on dvd again!! i cant get it anywhere!

In the House of Night book series there's a cat calleed Maleficent and she's a wicked bitch too!

  • @Jennabubbss

Lmao wat a coincidence lolzzz im just now reading the latest book in the series- Destined haha lol

  • This movie is just so beautiful, it makes my heart hurt. Every frame is a work of art. Without a doubt one of the most gorgeous movies ever made.

  • Im a guy, im 16,im still watching this.still any doubts on how good it is?

  • LMFAO You can imagine the fairies fighting at the end over the colour of the dress xD

  • Luv this movie im 20 and still watching Disney movies!! :•)

  • I love Disney movies! I find it difficult to get my husband to watch them with me though..At least when I have kids, THEY'LL watch them with me. ;_; Lolz

  • @emy18100 Me too!! :D Disney will forever remain a part of my life like Kingdom Hearts will. The game is part Disney lol

  • I luv this film

  • the whole scene with the prince going to the prince was all thanks to the fairys, all the prince did was go to the castle and kill the witch with his sword thanks to the fairys

  • @PatZalatoris wtf did u just say...?

  • the red fairy reminds me of my granny, rip

  • All this happened cause an evil fairy got all bitchy cause she wasn't invited to a party?!?! Damn someone had some issues LMAO!!!

  • this is my favorite disney princess animated movie ever .. i miss childhood days.. ( haha im not that old im just 15 but still )

  • okei thats very weird!!! the last word that aurora had which was like...almost half an hour ago or so "this" in "i cant believe this", in which when the pink fairy had to her that she cud never she prince phillip agin. and the last word that prince philiip had sed which was also bout half an hour ago or so "in"(i think) in which "can i come in", where he was going into the cotage for the last time. ._.

  • Awesome movie

  • @dawnstarlikespie Her ankle isn't bare obviously, she's fully clothed so I imagine her ankles would be pretty well covered with her shoes and tights

  • Cinderellas music is in this

  • I love this movie but at the end she wouldn't be holding her skirts that high. It was against traditions for women to because if a man saw their ankles, bare ankles, that is, they were required to marry them. Well, I may be thinking of Colonial times because that was the tradition then.

  • @dawnstarlikespie This is set in the 13th century and there was no waltz then. Not sure where the bare ankle idea came from, women would show their ankles even when they wore long dresses if they were dancing.

  • Best ever. I'm 20 and I love this movie just as much, if not more, as I did when I first saw it at 7

  • I'm 16 and I'll never get tired of this movie, or any Disney movie for that matter. I was born and raised on Disney movies, and that's how it's gonna be. End. Of. Story.

  • @mountaineersx3 very good story :)

  • The fashions are not consistent with the XIVth century. King Stefan is dressed in the fashion of the time of El Cid, the XIth century, and King Hubert is dressed in the fashion of the time of Henry VIII of England, the XVIth century.

  • @belianis I know. But has Disney ever been known for it's historical accuracy?

  • @belianis you’re complaining that a movie with fairies and magic and spells has fashion that is not historically accurate?

  • @MrMichaeljenkins I was the fashion coordinator for my high school theater class, and I was an absolute fanatic for historical accuracy. I was very much aware, for ex, that in the Middle Age--and indeed until the XIXth century--there were no right and left shoes; instead both shoes were the same for both feet.

  • @belianis Congrats on the one job in high school, but I have been studying costume design/history in college for about a year and a half now (not to mention a lifetime of personal study) so please let me remind you that knowledge of fashion history had nothing to do with my original statement. This is a cartoon, not based on any particular time period or country...yes it could be roughly tied to the middle ages but obviously this is not a documentary. So why complain? lol

  • @MrMichaeljenkins Because anachronisms are the surest way to disrupt the credibility of an story set in the past.

    Clock strikes.

    Brutus: Peace, count the clock.

Casca: The clock hath stricken three.

JULIUS CAESAR, Act II, Scene I

  • @belianis If you want historical accuracy...stick to history books. Disney is fantasy. Fantasy is free to do what it likes.

  • "it looks awful"

"it's because it's on you dear"

    LOL

  • the 3 fairy'z remind me of the three cows off 'home on the range'...lol

  • I did enjoy it, thank you very much!! :)

  • I can't believe that when this film was originally released, it didn't do very well.

  • @MsSuzyQ88 It didn't? I thought it was a big success aside from the fact that they spent a shitload of money to make it and it took 7 years to make.

  • @maliwahtallhei Sleeping Beauty didn't get it's true fame until it was re-released in the 1960s. Another thing, it took 9 years to make.

  • @MsSuzyQ88 It was released for the first time in 1959 and Mary Costa (voice of Aurora) said in an interview that they began production in 1952. 7 years.

  • @maliwahtallhei I read an article that stated that production started in 1951, so it was actually 8 years. I was wrong too.

  • @MsSuzyQ88 i knew it was released somewhere in there but golly day! o__o i was wondering where or how i somehow was watching this for the first time @ my grandmothers i think it was...

  • @maliwahtallhei besides of matter of that, thats a f****in load of time to make!! o____o

  • I want to thank you for posting this - I've been craving a Disney movie for years, and this hit the spot.

  • I never got to see this Princess story as a kid. I saw all the others, just not this one. Huh. This film has some of the best animation I've ever seen by Disney.. It's just that, I felt the story was a bit empty, and even rushed.

  • @Blitzion214 yeah...but the overall of this whole movie of 1 bad thing is, aurora and prince phillip never say another word for more than half an hour!

  • @GreenAlligator12259 Yeah! I didn't notice it much until near the end.. But sometimes stories don't need a lot of dialogue to get a message across.

  • @Blitzion214 i think its kinda stupid and sad @ the same time :/ also, wat u mean??

  • When I was a kid, I used to hate this movie for no reason. But now I'm in love with this movie.

  • I couldn't watch this when I was little because Maleficent scared the crap out of me - I'm 18 now and she still does :(

  • @iwilltrytofixyou33 LMAO EXACTLY THE SAME HERE.. AHAHAH DISNEY IS NOT MENT TO SCARE PPL THOUGH!! WEIRDD

  • @iwilltrytofixyou33 i loved watching this when i was little, however i was never allowed to watch Bambi and im 14 now and still havent :/

  • @DestinedForLight Haha oooh you were obviously braver than me! I haven't seen Bambi either! I've heard it's very sad... I don't like sad films :( I watched the Lion King for the first time a few weeks ago - NO ONE WARNED ME HOW SAD IT WAS :( :(

  • Comment removed

  • @iwilltrytofixyou33 yea i watched tht when i was a kid but i cried so i haven't seen it since. have you seen the movie spirit? (bout the horse) it makes me cry loads but i also love the movie (it has a happy ending, dont worry) and yes i hate sad films 2:) Titanic is the one tht will defo make me cry though :)

    Me: Pink is the prettiest.

My brother: No, blue is better! D:<

And still to this day, I cannot watch that scene where Maleficent appears in the fireplace. It freaks me out so bad.

  • Fauna is most kindhearted of the fairies :3

  • @AnaferMangastyle which color is she?

  • Thank you for posting this. It is almost impossible to find the good old princess movies now unless you bought them when they came out.

Also, why would you send her out of the house to gather berries on her 16th birthday--the day she is supposed to fall into sleep...
