This type of belly dancing is common in Turkey and the Balkans(Serbia, Bulgaria etc.) The torso isolation is called by the Romani people (and probably by the Turkish Gobek , and is more used, as opposed to the arabic hip shimmies, hence the music measure is 9/8, not 2/4 or 4/4 rhytms.
