Special privilege and recognition of a certain group of people should not exist in the military. There is a reason why the military does not need this enforced separation between the soldiers. Lady Gaga has NO idea about what it takes to be in the military or how it operates, let alone the effects that dividing the soldiers has on unit integrity. This is an unnecessary mandate in the U.S. military and will only lead to the weakening of our forces from the ground up.

Actually whether something is immoral is based on whether it's causing undue harm. If gay sex causes someone other than the gays to suffer, without that person's consent, then gay sex is immoral. That's why stealing is bad, that's why cheating is bad, that's why killing is bad, etc. It's because all of these immoral things cause harm to people. Since gay sex doesn't cause harm then it doesn't qualify as immoral. Duh.

I'm in the military and yes showering with a gay man makes me uncomfortable. I would much rather he just keep his sexuality to himself with respect to his peers. I don't see what's wrong with that and I don't hate gays lol. But i guess if anyone is uncomfortable under such a situation they are instantly labeled a Biggot.
