Yo. Guys. If you have studies your phone and Sony start up..there is a way to fix it. Simply perform a repair. I realize flash mode only stay on for about 10 seconds bit as soon as you get it onto repair at the same time.as.flashing. Your all good. I had the same problem. But fixed.

Somehow it just won't for the x10i. I am trying for a week. No results.I have unplugged usb. I have turned off the device Hold the back key and put the usb back into the computer. I will get a green light (even on low battery, so should be the sign there is some connection i guess). But the flashing programm just wont detect my device.

Okay I downloaded the the Downgrade and Upgrade files and i am having trouble putting them in Firmwares folder because i don't have what it has in the Video. I extracted the file and it's in a folder called Meta-inf file with kernel.sin and loader.sin I don't have the X10 Azuzu kernel downgrade genereic file at all so what did i do wrong?

@METEORIKKA .when i tryed for the first time the superuser app was not installed, but when i did it again i saw the superuser app on my menu.you should see superuser to know that your phone is rooted.i hope i helped you.

Dude, no need like that, just flash the kernel upgrade and you will enable to boot into OS. Check if you enabled 2 important things, if it still can't root, on FlashTool, go Advanced > find the menu have Force.... I can't remember exactly, there are some comment how to do that, find it

@iFrakAsian Exactly, you can flash both firmwares with no problem if you did not enable USB Debugging and Unknown Sources. However, you should check these 2 settings before try again. But firstly, was the Root button became clickable?

Stock means this firmware is original and not modded include add, remove anything in system file...

So if you got the firmware from XDA and get the UI like video, it's stock. But if you rooted, installed xRecovery and install flashable zip, this is not stock firmware

I have tried a few times and get it and the only way to recover is to do a recovery thru PC Companion.

There must be some reason it works with some and not all.

@silveraerolight Nvm I just solved my problem, if people aren't getting their root button popped up after the flash downgrade, they can bypass it by going to the advanced tab on flash tool and go to Root, and click on Force Psneuter, it will force root, and after this follow up with the upgrade instruction you gave. + Use Vol up/down to move cursor up/down

+ Use Home key to select

+ Use Back key to go back

- To install custom plugin

+ Move cursor to Install custom ZIP

+ Choose from SD card

+ Select the ZIP file you want to install. In this case, they are Bravia Engine and xLoud.

+ Choose yes to begin install.

@pspkid432 Nope, I don't think it's a good idea. You can overclock it to 1.3GHz but I don't think you phone can survive for weeks. I'm on stock Android, rooted, xRecovery installed and delete unneed app, it runs very smooth. Quadrant test score is 1312. That's enough with me.

@stanlyrosario I just know that if your phone won't boot, you forgot to flash the upgrade kernel. You should repeat step by step, correctly, carefully. No need to repair the phone again, just use flashTool to flash kernel
