My guess is that this was made by the Lettermen in the early or mid 70's when they also released a Filipino classic "Dahil Sayo". The Lettermen had become the favorite of the Filipinos back then not just because they are really good but also because the former first lady Imelda Marcos who was still popular at that time was fond of them.

I never heard this song by the Lettermen before. It's gorgeous!!!!

It was one of my granddaughter's favorite ELO songs. I can't hear it, by anyone, without missing her desperately. She was killed in an auto accident two years ago, at the age of 18....
