@Pwells, I actually grew up with a friend who had the last name Potter, and she is a natural redhead and did not have freckles or pale skin. Also, I have blond hair and brown eyes, which most would say, is unusual. I think there are genetic traits that go hand in hand, but there are exceptions.
Absolutely great! I love everything: the cast, the scenery, the interviews themselves, the script... Really amazing! Just for the record: it's Rowling like bowling, not Rowling like howling.
That was really, really, really well done. I have to admit I was a little skeptical at the start, but I was blown away. The acting, the script, the cinematography, all very well done.
Just a quick question, what does the paper under Harry's glasses say? I cant make it out
@WarriorsxxFan No, it's accurate to the book and movie, as well as Gingers in real life. Pale skin, freckles, blue/green eyes, light red hair. It's a genetic trait. The girl here has dark red hair that definitely looks dyed, and not as pale of skin. Also, one of my really good friends is ginger, so I know what you're supposed to look like.
@Pwells1 Okay. No. Sorry, but I've read the books several times over and I checked online before commenting back. Ginny has brown eyes. I actually know a ginger myself and he has brown eyes. :P Not everyone is the same. As yet another example, Alicia Witt is a redheaded actress. Brown eyes, no freckles. It may be a genetic trait, but it doesn't mean everyone has ALL the traits. Not the way it works.
i loved the whole documentary.... except for this part some of the things tht ginny said and did seemed un-ginny-like but the rest was amazing... i'd love to c this as a full length theatrical film
I've just finished watching your series and have to say it's the best example of what a fan film can be. Your choice of the documentary format was brilliant as it allowed a sense of versatility of both characters and locations without coming off as disjointed.
The majority of the acting was above par for what I expected when I first started watching, and the script was really rather well done. It is a shame you don't have more views but at the very least now you have a fan in me.
Hmm, seems curious to me that the film creators think Harry would go and live in a muggle area. I think he'd live in the wizarding world. It was the only place he felt at home in, even if people stared at and talked about him.
This is just a small detail about something Ginny said, but wouldn't Harry not have needed to take the kids to Ginny's parents' house because the kids would still be at school?
This whole series is a fantastic tribute! You've really done J K Proud! One thing im curious about is the stuff shot at the wizarding world of harry potter, in all the videos i've seen, that place is jam packed full with people, how did you manage to get the shots of the place so empty?
I loved the part with Ginny! I started crying when she spoke about how fred died, and how George lost more than a brother... The two of the belonged together... Fred died when he wasn't with George... George lost his ear when he wasn't with Fred... they were meant to stay together, to protect each other... but now, Fred is gone :(
Wonderful. I absolutely loved this series. Is there any sort of award you could get for this? Like a fan-documentary or something? You should totally win, if so.
Well... it's been great. I don't see how Ginny would tell people--the whole wizarding world essentially--about what happened that night if Harry didn't agree with her. I'm not saying that she should always do what Harry says, but what happened the night he faced Voldemort is his story and his alone to tell. I just don't see how Ginny would not respect that. So in this respect, I disagree with the documentary.
... Dang it, you've set off the waterworks again. Wrong video to watch immediately after seeing the movie itself. That's not to say this is bad, not at all; this is excellent. Thank you.
that was beautiful
