I don't remember my amp settings but it also depends on the amp and guitar you use to get a tone. I also was using a clean effect via pedals as well.

What is wrong with my Guitar, every time I try to pick the guitar on a string im holding, there is no sound. Do you know what I have to do in order for mine to still make sound whilst im holding the string?

@TMNTFastForward123 are you just learning how to play, cause if that's the case than you need to train your finger muscles to get used to holding down the strings and make a clear sound out of them. If you're beyond that point, make sure you aren't pressing any of the metal frets. If things still aren't going well for you, you might want your guitar looked at by someone cause there could be a calibration issue.
