@bravebelt67 - the pin spacing & lane width is full-size regulation. The length is short though. It is maybe 29 feet to the headpin from the foul line
It would be cool to make it for tenpin too, but I don't think my backstop is strong enough to stop a 16 lb ball again and again. Duckpins are the best for making a small in-home alley.
i love your lane

Linds World Impex has 1/2 size replicas of tenpins; I basement bowled using
such a set and a candlepin ball. Pinfall was true to form - solid tens, splits,
washouts, etc.

:) little loud dont you think? you need auto return function for the ball (you might not be able to)

I just converted my pinsetter from duckpin to candlepin. You can search "G.D.O. Pinsetter: Duckpin to Candlepin Conversion"

You used alot of 2x4s for base -- would you use less number of them to form base, also what thickness of plywood for base did you use? Thanks

awesome lane! If I had one, I would use it almost everyday! Even though I bowl tenpin.

@loverbud8182 well if it cant stop a 16 pounder why not by a 8 pounder you can get them for like 40 or 50 bucks

@TheOnehandedwonder : I suppose I could. It would be cool to be able to play 3 different forms of bowling on the lane.

Your project was part of what inspired me to build this. Yours is just as impressive, I'd like to see more video of it.
Thanks for the compliment!
