@wisetrucker and @dewnansek I am from Basel, which is in Switzerland and the Bratwurst comes from Germany. I do have to agree thought that this is great. PS. The Bratwurst does not taste very similar to the french saucissons you are talking about. The Bratwurst is made out of leftovers and has its own special taste.
Bratwurst or Brotwurst mit pomme frittes from the roadside cubicles, a bit better then our burger vans, bit I was never keen on them (spelling might be a bit out as it was years ago that i was there).

@dewnansek After i spent some years in Germany in the army i can pick out the odd word in your post, i should have learnt more, my fault not yours. By the way i liked Germany, but you can keep your Bratwurst, that is not to my taste.
@wisetrucker Very kind...am actually from sunny Devon! I put a couple of German comments as a courtesy to the poster who is German and also a little scottish gaelic for the piper (scottish granny!). Never tried Bratwurst although I do like all those french saucisson so imagine it is similar
