  • Comment removed

  • search djdomenzain megamix ;) sick

  • CHENCHOOOOOOOOOOO

  • does this sound card work with serato too? and would it work with traktor?

  • @Skater22193 Every Soundcard works with Traktor and Serato.... but you can't use Timecode !.... For Timecode you need the Serato Soundcard or for Traktor the Audio2, Audio 4 or Audio 8

  • would someone mind explaining what time-code control is?

  • Can you help me, I looked on the net for my question and I don't see the answer out there, so it is, what's exactly an timecode CD ?

  • @8101297 timecoded CD is like a timecoded vinyl but for CD players.

  • can u help me configure my pioneers cdj 800 as timecodes please??

  • what does it mean when where the green and red lines are only one is straight and the other is wavy?

  • @thesimpletonshow its actually blue and red but those lines are for easy mixing those waves are the sound waves from the music. i got virtual dj, its awesome!

  • @chooby3000 do u know if the behringer uca 202(the sound carrd used in the video) will work with timecoded vinyl on turntables....thx

  • @DjBeatz1293 iv never tried using the uca 202 with timecodes vinyl but i imagine if its working in this vid with cdj's there shouldnt be a difference with vinyl, as for using 2 at the same time i have no idea again i dont see why it wouldnt work tho.... i get that ur lookin for a real cheap solution but hav a look at torq, iv been using it for 2 years with no probs at all, an im sure u cud pik up a 2nd hand box an timecodes

  • @DjBeatz1293 yes it will but just to let you know you'll be limited at what you can do...

  • @chooby3000 or anyone who knows...will the sound card work if i use 2 deck and a mixer if i buy two of the sound cards...thx

    respond ASAP

  • hey can you connect the usb to a mixer then to the cdj's????

  • @livin45g no

  • wich Vinyl do i have to buy to get the right frequency on Turntables ?

  • i just have a question, the song youre scratching, is at the Cdj? I mean, your are using a common CD? or youre are controlling a song at Vdj?

  • hey can i use 2 uca 202 for two decks on vdj or just get Maya 44

  • @ikeatl1 im wondering the same thing cuz using two sound cards that are cheap is way more in my budget

  • @DJMCA561 imo theres no point getting a cheap sound card ,youll get too much lag which makes scratching pointless ,a good solution is something like a maya 44 either internal or usb

  • nice!

  • virtual dj is the ghetto solution for america haha :P

  • Nice info vid, man. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.

  • If i use the uca does it work with serato with an ndx200

  • @PrezTyler no serato can only be controled by the Rane interface/hardware it cant be controled by any other box but that one. virtual dj can be controled by the Rane box on the other hand. Hope this helps you understand.

  • can I use my UCA with serato my cdjs !?! reply asap!!!

  • Thats great, but its work with vinyl? :S THX the answer

  • i got my old cdi 300 turntables and a qfx19 mixer everything from numark and i got virtual dj instaled on my computer but my question is what type of cd time code i can use or where i can buy??? thanks bro.

  • @miguelitopegueros get the free ones on vdj website

  • LOL @ VIRTUAL DJ

  • Question: I have one numark axis 9, behringer dx626 mixer, hp pavillion dv 6000 laptop, cd time codes, and a behringer 202 sound card. I wanna use virtual dj with this set up and control it using my numark axis 9. Would I need more then two channels for the sound card for me to make this work? I basically want to dj off one numark axis 9 with virutal dj and control both sides using my mixer. I know I have to set up the keys for the program to control what side is playing. Can this be done?!

  • ay if i bought this sound card would i be able to trick virtual dj by buying a virtual dj vinyl replacement and using it for my direct or belt drive.. ? too complicated Lol

  • VDJ will recognize your table and use it as the new controller.

  • With this behringer soundcard, you could only use one with VDJ. This soundcard is very good and is perfect to play music off your laptop to an amp then speakers. but, for VDJ, i strongly recommend Maya44usb from ESI. It costs around $100. but with it you can control two cd players or turntables with coded vinyl.

  • Does anyone know how to properly burn a timecoded cd from the VDJ website? I burned two cds with only one track on them for each of my cdj's, but they only work for the duration of the track! (Less than 6 seconds.)

    Please help!

  • Wow. first, the track should last to 12-13 minutes. second, it shouldn't stop. for now, i suggest that you skip back to the front of the beginning of the timecoded track everytime you are done with an mp3. that way, it starts of with a fresh 12-13 minutes. try downloading serato timecoded mp3's which also work with VDJ but you must select it in the menu in VDJ.

  • hey men...can you help me? I have a fastrack pro and a numark arc3 how can i setup vdj to use them? thaaannkksss!!!!!

  • thx for the video homie

  • how can i connect two uca202 to virtualdj ?

  • hey man i have torq conectiv dose that works with virtual dj i connect everything and just the mixer works but the turn table sounds like is going very slow

  • hey man i haeve 0 quality time coad how do i fix it?pllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzz heeeeeeeeeeellllllllppppppppppppppp

  • xwax is cheaper than vdj ;)

  • but its not better

  • oh yes it's better...

virtualdj is very unstable, xwax just runs and runs...

and it just has the functions a normal turntable has, so you don't play all the time with fx and stuff like that ;)

  • Is this XWax time-code CD friendly? I hit up the site and it says it only works for time-coded vinyl.

  • i think it is

there is an switch for serato-cd timecode when starting xwax

  • Well I think I'll cop Mixxx instead. I don't have Linux(unless I get a notebook that has it already). Thanx for the response.

  • linux is free, you just download a distribution (for example ubuntu), burn it and install it on your machine.

  • because it's very expensive?!

  • i have used the behringer on my virtual dj and all i keep getting is an error code saying my sound card does not have enough channels. can anyone help?

  • why not just buy scratch live u get everything with it already

  • cuz its expensive

  • does this work with vinyl if u buy timecode vinyl and use that setup?

  • don't see why not...

  • ok so i got this set up. got vdj software, i bought a maya 44, downloaded and burned the time code from vdj site, put into my pioneer cdj mk-800. hooked it up the way its supposed to go but when i try and get it to work all i hear is a loud ping sound. (presumeably just wats on the timecode) i cant seem to make it work together with the computer. anyone help??

  • Have you tried going to config on the top right and messed with the timecode settings?

  • @heliopathic

the problem that you have is that vdj website has 2 kinds of timecoded cds on the website, one is for top of the line cd players(newer cdj s) and the other one is for older cdj with diferent volume levels, try downloading both and try them, hope this helps

  • Ok so I'm going to buy the Behringer Uca 202, but I just want to give you a run down of my setup to make sure this will work right: Stanton C.313 CD turntable hooked up to the Behringer Uca 202 VIA rca, then the Behringer Uca 202 usb cable hooked up to my pc. Then, virtual DJ main output through my SB audigy sound card to my AMP. Sound good?

  • I got a question. I got this setup, 2 denon 5000, 2 uca202's and mixer..using VDJ. I config the system with the ASIO4ALL drivers. I got everything working on both decks and virtual dj. But there is a distorted and laging sounds that happens after about 10 minutes of mixing. Does anyone have a special way to setup the configs on the timcode config tab? I have it on relative mode.

  • I have numark total control and djio soundcard, can i add a uca202 to add a single turntable with timecode?

  • yes

  • yo wuts the song that plays in the beginning?

  • hi,

    just two questions

    1.will this work with turntables?

    2.can i use serato tcv

    please reply!

    thanks....

  • nope, because there are no VDJ vinyls. Just buy Serato Scratch Live or Traktor pro with Timecode Vinyls.

  • 1. yes as long as your external mixer has grounding ports.

    2. i'm not sure, but it should.

  • Will the crossfader on my mixer sync with VDJ?

  • Yes if you have a mixer with midi

  • no, and the sound won't come out the computer, you need extra speakers to the output of your mixer (kinda complicated to tell you why)

if the mixer is usb, i really don't know lol

  • hello friend, i just want to know how is the configuration in the setup of vdj?,please let me know that.

    thank you so much.

  • I can't find the ASIO software for os x. Any ideas?

  • i think that osx works with a different driver... i dont own osx myself... but i think that apple offers some low latency drivers

  • With the parallels you can install windpws to your mac and than you can install the asio

  • to almost every body who has a question for this vid ...the answer is yes t almost every thing if u have it pluged in to ur cd players or turntabels it works the same its just from ur screen to ur divice..

  • you can do this with turn tables right?

  • yes

  • a bro your bpm does not go crazy

like goes up or down when you tring beep match

are you using virtual dj vinyl or cd

    good scratching

  • Hey mate, can u use the mixer to mix then with this please let me know cheers. thanks so much?

  • yes it really jus vdj on your tabels or cd players and not on ur screen

  • yes you would need a soundcard with two inputs and outputs... try the maya44

  • can you use 2 of them soundcards with 2 decks?

  • in theory, yes you can but it would be better to get an audio card with at least 4 inputs/outputs it makes the setup a whole lot easier

  • yes but it will be hard to set-up maya44 is the alternative it's easier to set-up

  • when i have the pioneer djm-500 ? can i connect it too ?

  • yes

  • it won't work for me, all i'm hearing is the bleeping noise. and my pc does not react to the cd deck.(after getting new driovers from a friend of mine i finally managed to set virtual dj in timecode mode

  • hi m8 is there any way i can use time coded vinyls with out buying a usb sound card?

  • huh!? no there is no way to hook up to the PC. unless your mixer supports it then maybe, varies from mixer to mixer

  • no.

  • ESAI CONVERTER ♦

  • An economic solution... but takes away the whole 'DJ experience'.

  • will that work with turntabls?

  • I think it's pretty much the same thing, but different settings and also you need a special timecode vinyl when you use,

  • ok thanks :D

  • you will need a grounding spot for your TT. most mixers have it on the back

  • HELP!

dont you need to connect the turntables to some sort of phono preamp?

    or directly to sound card

    HELP ME!!!

  • What's up DJ Fontom!! Sweet video homie!! Quick Question? Can you please show step by step how you hooked up your system on this video please! I'm having problems hooking up one cd top table.. It will not work with me! Thanks!!

  • ablas espanol ayudameeeeeeeee

  • hey guys, ive tried to make this set up work but its not flying smoothly for some reason. i got cdj-800's got virtualdj "for cheap" i bought the maya44 usb and downloaded the timecode from vdj site. i hooked everything up right, i know its right because i can play music through it and the time code high pitched squeel comes out. for some reason tho in vdj program it says timecode sig: 0%

    wtf??

is the timecode from the website shitty? do i need a special cd to burn it on? wat do u guys think?

  • SAME PROBLEM I HAVE BRO!! still cant figure it out

  • will this work with a turntable?

  • yes, you can use numark timecode vinyls for it - 1 vinyl ~ 20$

  • hey, can i buy like serato timecode vinyl instead of numark?

  • oh yea one more question for ex. one turntable and a mixer. could it work with it?

  • Hey bro, I'm thinking of going with this, only with some Stanton T.60's and a pair of VDJ timecode vinyls. Know of any issues that would arise because of this?

  • no.

  • can u use the denon dns1000 with virtual dj?

  • You can use them, but you just got to get the timecode and burn it on a cd. and put those into the cd deck. (Assuming you know how to hook everthing up). And then configure the settings.

  • you can use EVERY cd player with the timecode cd

  • ayeee, i do mobile DJ work, meaning i take DJ at parties... you think its is okay?

  • Just came back to say that this worked fine... There are a few errors in the video and in the comments however regarding the uca202s.

First let the uca202s install on their own. do not use behringers drivers.

Second get asio4all and use that in virtual dj.

I currently have 2 cdjs hooked up to an external mixer using the uca202s so it is definitely possible.

  • cool!

  • i would like also to know how did you connect your cds playyer with the computer so that you can control the program too

  • i've noticed that the track downloaded from virtual dj site is 12min long. i'm asking what happens if you have a 30min track for example?! pls reply me do not respond in another comment so that i can review you reply thanks ;)

  • Excellent!

  • did you need any serato or other interface to use time codes?

  • yes, vdj. you can buy a timecode cd or download for free from their site.

  • Can you use this sound card on a vinyl turntable?

  • THANKS FOR PUTTING THIS UP BRO!!!

  • Anyone know if it's possible to get the same setup using my Dns1000, numark cue, djio, and some burned time codes CDs?

  • then again..the latency issue..

  • suturaman, I hope you are wrong because I just ordered 2 of these things.

  • thanx for vid

  • there's a problem... u can work with 1 uca202, but when u install the second one (during the install process, it asks for connect the hardware, then u have to connect the 2 uca202 at the same time), in ASIO configuration (on virtualdj sound setup) u can only select one of the 2 soundcards (there are 2 Behringer uca202). I tried and I couldn't... maya44 usb is better than this one, or that's what i've read on forums

  • lol i feel bad for Nolatek because he just bought 2.. maya44s were made to connect two turntables in one source which is the maya44. so yea like suturaman said.. you cant work with two sources.. it will conflict

  • do u install it when its plugged in or do u unplug it

  • can u help me set this up i really need it please help out will appreciate it much

  • hey mate ive got your set up but cdj 800s and a laptop with virtual dj and the behringer uca 202 and i dont have a clue how to get it working could you help me mate because im dieing to get it working ! thanks message me back

  • can u please give me the steps to using this in vdj

  • so u need a soundcard

  • just wondering why you wouldnt use this in a club?

  • because he illegally downloaded virtual dj

  • get the stanton final scratch open its a good relaible sound card. both for home and club use.

  • well it's not cheap coz a cdj costs about 500-600

  • aaaah its the black hand

  • Hey bro great job on all that you have explained i just got this sound card and i'm was just wondering is there any way to hook up your 2nd table and mixer of even head phones?Good looking.......

  • Hello , if i have 2 vinil player , 2 timecoded vinils and a Behringer Uca 202 .... it works ?

  • wheres serato?

  • This has nothing to do with serato- it's a competator..

  • then why is "serato" a tag?

  • probably because it does the exact same thing as serato?

They're all digital vinyl systems (DVS)- serato, virtual dj, virtual vinyl, pcdj, ms. pinky, mixvibes, deckadance, etc, etc. There's a huge list..

  • Serato, virtual dj, and ms pinky may do similar things, but if youve used any of them, youd know otherwise.

  • lol ok, I've used serato and virtual dj, the only difference is the manufacturer, the latency, and the interface.

you're the one who asked why serato was a tag ;)

  • lol what about price, hardware, # of decks supported, whether or not the sound card is included, kinds of timecode, waveform display, effect available, files supported, skins, needle droping features, # of time coded vinyls included, and customer service?

They aren't the same product. There are many differences, everyone has their own favorite.

I asked why serato was a tag because I did't see serato in the video. ;)

  • wow...I don't know what to say. Like, I am literally at loss for words right now..

I thought that you had a legit question, so I was trying to answer it.

btw, hardware/waveform display/skins are all part of the "interface" now, aren't they?

  • whats your point?
