If you are "freethinkers" how come you are all boring, predictable, clichéd, robotic people who think and say the same shit? DORKS!! PS - How come all this jokers never had a problem making money? Shouldnt "The Man" be against them and use their show business powers to censor them?
@GodHatesPortugal I am willing to accept that there are things you just don't know yet, I'm fine with that. Now to answer your question the reason why these "freethinkers" (and a lot of them are not, they are double agents from the other team that have infiltrated ours to gain access to us) haven't been censored or silenced is because the very act of doing so STRENGTHENS the "Freethinkers" argument and draws negative attention Towards those in power and those that would see these ppl as a threat
@TheAmazingCreative If child molestation really outraged you that much, you would tell your religious leaders to stop doing it, instead of being pissed off at people who bring it to light.
@TheAmazingCreative Yeah, it's a far more productive life to sit around making cartoons that portray atheists as emaciated retards. I'll tell you why atheists are angry; because people like you are peddling fairy stories as actual science, even when religion is the exact opposite of science.
By the way, the next time you make a video, try putting some actual jokes into it. It'll at least make them entertaining.
@GenuineFreeThinker That's a very broad statement. Would you care to show some factual evidence of your claim? Also, please information as to which "religion" you are specifically referring.
Here in DE, one cannot find beer after 8 a.m on Sundays. A couple years ago, it was NO beers on Sunday, so we drove to MD. I still get poeple from out of town asking me, a cashier a walmart, where the liquor section is. We don't have one. They are confused.
I would say the average person should respect the collective opinion of respected scientists all over the world who all agree on something. I didn't say we should believe what we're told, I said we should at least seriously investigate their conclusion since they've been working on solving these problems for their entire adult life.

I take umbrage at Izzard's characterization of evolution even having "a few holes".
I get the joke and I know he doesn't dispute the scientific consensus on evolution but any imagined "holes" in the theory are a purely creationist convention borne of ignorance. Countless different types of evidence from many different disciplines have all converged over the past 150+ years on one central fact: nothing in biology makes sense except in light of evolution (to paraphrase the great Dobzhansky).
You're right the evolutionary theory is pretty much as solid as a theory can get at this point, but I see his point about the holes in how existence or even our universe actually first started.
I'm sure we can all agree it's an ignorant ideal to say "magic did it" for everything we don't understand.
Oh lighten up, douche. "To paraphrase the great..." who actually fucking says that? Pull the stick out of your ass and just try to take the funny man's joke without "taking umbrage." Jesus Christ.
@themarxmarvelous Douche? How clever. Who says that? Educated people who know who Dobzhansky is, that's who. I get the joke, thought it was funny, I just likely have more biology education than you do so I made a clarification. I guess that really hurt your feelings. Perhaps try staying away from the internet in the future? Or you can continue to call people names from the comfort of your desk chair. That's probably a valuable use of your time.
@sleepcity Please, it's the comfort of my couch. Who sits at a desk? Uptight elitist assistant managers who give Liberals a bad name, that's who. Why exactly should I stay away from the internet? You're the guy who decided to take someone's compilation of good bits on religion and turn it into an "@sleepcity I know more than you do" shit parade. "I'm sorry, is that your party? Allow me to poop it." Go ride your high horse all the way back to your glass house guy.
@themarxmarvelous I pointed out that Izzard was mischaracterizing our present understanding of evolution, that's all. You joined in to call names. You continue to call names. I'm bored. Are we having fun yet?
@ewebb16 Even with regard to the fossil record he's conceding a point that he need not. There aren't any massive, embarrassing gaps that warrant explanation that hasn't already been provided. First of all the rarity of fossil preservation must be understood before one can even enter into the discussion....but then there's just lots of ignorance among scientifically-illiterate people about what fossils we DO have. That's all.

This is one fine example of some of the most vile and hateful Atheists and Free Thinkers around.
Besides the fact they are knocking and hating on Religion, which in America is our freedom, Bill Maher makes a joke out of Children being Molested.
Atheists are SICK. Should I go as far as to say "EVIL?"

It very interesting how the majority of Atheists and "free thinkers" are vile, foul mouthed, angry, defensive, and hostile in general.
They all seem like very unhappy people. What a sad life.

I do (take umbrage) too, but I think it makes for a good joke, it highlights how ridiculous "they" (creationists) really are.
