@jaafilm Please head over to the FXhome website's support section and submit a ticket, it's much easier to help you out there than via YouTube's comments system. :)
@jaafilm EffectsLab does not include the day for night filter, although you might be able to approximate it with the provided filters. However, I'd recommend using CompositeLab or VisionLab.
EffectsLab does include a range of colour correction filters, so you can do some grading. It doesn't have as big a range as CompositeLab or VisionLab, though.
You need to click the title of the clip once you've added it to the timeline. This will display its properties in the toolbox, and you can then change the composite blend method from normal to screen/add/etc.
Hi I would like to ask a question? Is visionlab like the software and then you buy the effects seperate? Please leave some info that would be great thanks! :)
There are three different products, Effects lab lite/pro, composite lab and vision lab lite/pro. Vision lab is a mixture of effects lab pro and compositle lab pro, with a few added things that are restricted to vision lab.
Vision lab has all the effects incorporated, so you could either buy that or the two other ones separetly
ok, thx for the help. The thing that i like about fxhome, is that u support ur customers, nobody else does that and i'm so glad i bought effects lab and composite lab
i still dont know how you managed to make the guys face blue the whole time, was it masking...i wouldnt say so as it would take a hell of alot of time...please help ive searched you website!
Yep, in this case it was masking, and it did take a little while to roto. :)
If I were doing the shot properly you'd probably want to shoot the actor on a greenscreen to make the transformation easier.
For subsequent shots it'd be far easier to use on-set make-up. You could always manipulate colours in post still, like they did in Sin City with the Yellow Bastard.
@oscar21270 If you're using the demo, you'll get a message about purchasing the full version when you quit.

You can see full information about the differences at the FXhome website - head to the products section and you'll find a comparison chart.

Yes.

That is correct, except we no longer sell the lite versions.
Also VisionLab comes with extra features such as the lightning engine

ummmm, my version of compositelab pro doesnt have the preset day to night. Any suggestions on how to get the same look a different way?
SlikProductionsInc 4 years ago
You should be able to achieve a similar look with a mixture of contrast, saturation and a blue tint.

The tutorials were created using VisionLab Studio, which has more features.
