From Long Beach to San Diego it takes about 1 1/2 hrs driving and taking Amtrak it would be about 2 1/2 hrs.

Over all 7-8 hours is pretty fast when you count those hills.

I just switched my back wheel from single speed to fixed and the continuous peddle killed me at first. After a few rides my body adjusted and now every ride on my fixied becomes a true test of my endurance, hope to get your guys level somday.

@jeffryruga yup i was like you once...now my endurance is pretty high. i ride a 46-15 and i can keep a 25mph ride for quite some time. love it

@kemz562 25mph is bookin it! my rides fluctuate in between 15 and 20mph, puttin in about 30 to 40 miles everyday except weekends. You'd probably kill it on a geared road bike
