That radio has excellent reception and clarity on the 5 watt signal. All I can say is it must have great filtering to pull in weak signals that clear with no distortion.

It is not dating however the point of showing JUST a radio is what exactly? The picture adds NOTHING to the what is going on. Is it a requirement of hams to be IMPERSONAL? It is not about "photos", Next time you go on a date show her your equipment and you think that will impress her?

Those interested in this radio want to see and hear it in action, not look at me! They can watch the S-meter. When I operate, I look at the radio and I listen to the voice. It is true to life. What you saw is what I see when I operate... I don't see the other operator face, just my radio!

As for a date, well, I am not looking for that, I am happily married and actually, it was and still is my equipment that my wife really does enjoy ;-) So you are wrong there too.
