Nós, em Angola dizemos musseque, os brasileiros sao os da célebre favela, mas como se chamam em Mocambique, nao sei! Ouvi algures, que era "bairro" ou "xiculungo" ou coisa assim, mas nunca cheguei a saber o verdadeiro termo! O Sérgio sabe? Agradecia resposta ;-)
Somehow, the people living in these once paradisiacal African cities manage to convince themselves that it is the fault of the white man that everything has been destroyed. I love Africa and I love it's people but I cry over whats happened and sometimes feel bitter towards those idiots for ruining it!
the president will never reconstruct maputo. He doesn't give a damn about mozambique he only cares about his own pocketbook! he begs the european union and the united states for money and recieves billions! I have seen the actual numbers in the embassies. where does all of the money go? new homes for and cars and hookers and alcohol for the pres. and high ranking officials. The government purposely supresses the people in order to maintain control over them. All of Africa is lost!

what a shame, look how it looks like today, sometimes I think that it all started in the belgian Congo in the 60´s and will end in South Africa in maybe 10 years or so.
