In their society the common good always outweighs an individual one(this roots back to the Viking times), which is why they were willing to accept Marxist theories. America on the other hand, have been found on individualism. When i said they give up freedom, i meant they give up an ability to manage their lives. Private enterprise is very restricted; low competitiveness; basically there is a 'bar' on how much you can accomplish. That all seemed very unusual to me

Their life is surely better for them because such things as strong social safety net, education or a high quality life of your neighbor is important for them. What we value the most is our personal space, how much we can achieve and the difference we can make. Some people just aren't smart enough for certain jobs, no matter how hard they try, and there's only so many vacancies in ALL jobs. And go and tell poverty stricken Africans they had "equal opportunity". Its the distribution of wealth that is the problem. More money needs to be given to the poor and less to the rich.

And the last paragraph, define "earn" (also you assume that this 'earning' is justified, you clearly dont understand exploitation). And someone on 3million a year does not work 120X as hard/much as someone on 25k a year. Also the tax brackets stop increasing at about 40%. Explain how that is fair.

The increase of taxation by bracket - progressive tax - is unfair itself. The percentage system works so that every income is being taxed proportionally. For instance 10% of $20.000 is significantly less than 10% of $200.000. It is still works the same way, the more you make the more you pay.
Again it's your sense of entitlement talking. Define exploitation. I already explained that people earn they money based on how their labor is valued by society

There is no such thing as "country's wealth distribution". The money do not belong to the country, the government or the nation. Someone else's property/wealth directly tied to that person earning it - the labor. It is been known since John Locke and the Founding Fathers. Entitlement programs and high taxes are inefficient, there are other ways of solving the poverty problem ...
