  • From what you said in your vid, it seems that you don't connect the energy of life(spirit) of a person or animal passes into nature when they die. So the reason that you don't litter, is that you are polluting the graves of those that lived before.. for a litteral example, the energy of a persons body becomes part of the soil and then grass and then into animals.. I think Shinto is allowing for a spirit component of a person to follow the same path.

  • In your notes you mispronounced something. Just because it is pronounced "skoshi" you still spell it sUkoshi. And the born SHinto die Buddhist refers to Shinto being for life and Buddhism for Afterlife

  • The principle of the macrocosm of the Shinto is the same as a theory of facing each other.

    Einstein found it in Japan.

  • I'm not quite sure what you're talking about, but I am very intrigued. Can you give me a link so I can read about this?

  • A.Hole!

  • Aho was a yakuza guy that used to get me mushrooms in Misawa.

  • Shinto's believe that God's exist all around us and within all things. Gods even exist in food, which is why it is not liked when food is wasted. These Gods should be respected at all times which promotes a harmoneous outlook on life. Although Japanese nationalism (feeling they were the superior to all countries in the world, particularly other asian ones) surpassed this attitude during World War II.

  • The (1995) Tokyo subway gas attack was nothing to do with the terrorists being buddist. It was a small but messed up cult that decided this was a way of hastening the apocalypse.

  • I've seen mosques that are nothing more than a rented space in a stripmall. It's a reading room mostly. My understanding is that european royalty is inbred because they are all descended from charlemagne. I beleive charlemagne is supposedly descended from jesus, but that's most likely pure legend.

  • Charlemagne had good warrior blood. However, marrying cousins for centuries will dilute even good warrior blood.

  • I think it's good that even though you're an Atheist you respect the dead. That's how it should be.

  • Uh, do you think I feel any less for my loved ones who are gone just because I don't believe I won't ever see them again? That makes it worse, not better.

My dad is an atheist too, but he says he wants to piss on my mother's grave and lay down some black roses. I don't know how I feel about that. I hate choosing sides between them, but she has made his life a living hell for a third of a century.

  • No sweetie. I meant it's good that you respect their religious beliefs, even though you don't believe in them. Of course I don't think you feel less for your deceased loved ones.

  • Hey, I got in on the interrogation. I hope my comment doesn't offend you. I wouldn't ask that even to an exotic dancer in a strip club, but you seemed to want out there questions.

  • More about Prince Charles and the inbred royals, please.

The poisonous spider you talked about: Maybe a brown recluse?

  • To be fair, I should have mentioned Arkansas as well...

    Yes, they are brown recluses.

  • OK. Here's the title of that video:

    "<b>Inbred Royals and Native Arkansans: A Comparison.</b>"

  • How about this:

"Leaving Europe Doesn't Change White Trash"

  • Ha ha! Excellent!

A further (even more academic-sounding) refinement:

"<b>Inbred Royals and Native Arkansans: A Comparative Study.</b>"

Whatever the title, it's a good topic. I'm waiting for the vid.

  • yesssss finally!! thanks cade lol

  • The "all life is sacred" types worry me a bit, in that it opens up equalization of humans to every other life form. Too easy to move to human life has no value.

Oh, and OK city is a real questionable situation. They got agents on tape on-site talking about three bombs inside the building (one or two detonated, one being defused). Later, all talk of that dissapeared. Really bizzare shit. And remember the other oddities that were going on at the same time - Waco and Ruby Ridge.

  • I have an aunt that lives in Waco. She was not a member of Koresh's cult or anything, but she told me some stuff that was pretty creepy about how the feds were acting the entire time towards a place they knew was full of women and children. It's kind of like they wanted to see how much they could manipulate the media into spinning an atrocity.

  • Yeah, I think Waco was part of the ramp-up to the final solution against the ungoodthinkful: putting fear into the independant and acclimatizing the sheeple to military murder operations against US citizens.

  • An inoculation of subjugation, perhaps? Yes, I think so.

Ditto for Ruby Ridge. Shooting a woman armed with only a baby is something I'd normally expect out of thirteenth-century Mongols, not "law enforcement" personnel. Mowing down a dog and a prepubescent teen with a wickedly deadly .22 caliber rifle is almost justifiable I suppose. Except when you're wearing Kevlar.

  • This just in - the concentration camps being built by our government are now being covered by world net daily - hardly a conspiracy whack-job operation.

  • I took a course on various Asian religions, and found Shinto to be very interesting. I especially like the reverence towards nature, which really is the most powerful force on the planet. I can understand why an atheist (being one myself) would adhere to some of the teachings of Shinto--it's more of a spiritual thing than religious.
