I love how you keep the sound from Band of Brothers rather than just getting rid of it and letting you only hear the music. It creates a whole different experience. If the video quality was better, I would be having orgasms. As the video stands, it's amazing. Minus the one insignificant thing I pointed out, the video is flawless and really emotional.
@Hildibjor Thanks man, you and me both wish it was in better quality. I was editing MP4's that were 240 by 3 something resolution cause i put them on my ipod classic. I wish i had just ripped the dvd's again and edited it in high quality... oh well. I could try and remake it i guess
No one should ever feel remorse for killing nazi's or any radical muslim...notice I said radical...these demons want to murder you and your family after slowly torturing them. When God cuts down the devil, do you think he's gonna feel bad about it? If you are evil or you invoke evil, then evil shall be returned. This is thunderdome, death is listening, and will take the first man that screams.
My dad on his death bed told us some stories. Our jaws were on the ground at what he'd been carrying all those years and I can't type this with my eyes filling with tears.
Excellent video. I really think you have captured the actual feelings of veterans of any war. Great images and good music.. Thank you. Keep it up! Are you a veteran? geo1952@comcast.net
@geohawk1952 Thank you Geohawk its nice to hear some 1 say you did a good job :D. Fortunately i am not a veteran, idk why i do allot of war vids but i do. Beats me ahaha
@geohawk1952 ...I just hope that this helps young victims of recruiters get to realize: Who and what are the soldiers fighting for? Who benefits from all the carnage and cannon fodder? Certainly not the nation, nor the people. It's necessary for them to realize that they are not "defending" their homeland. Pride and country is wonderful....this is NOT it! ...It is NOT a badge of honor to be cannon fodder.

xcellant,we that havnt been there know nothing...most if not all of what those men had to do came from a basic instinct to survive, heroics were what we described after...
Haha, ok, im going to try that tonight, we will see what happens! I already tried to use it as a video response on they're videos but that didn't work... of course they never check they're youtube!
My original ending had Winter's walking in France for another minute, and then Band of Borthers like credits; playing with that episodes amazing piano version of the tv shows theme. But, alas, youtube only lets us upload 10:58... :(
Excellent video. 5x5. That music almost goes too well w/ the video. Keep up the good work. You are an excellent videoographer / sound tech. That gave me the chills, and I don't know if that was the intended reaction to this video, but you sure pulled it off.
Thanks Guys, its hard for me to show this to people and have pay attention and take is seriously. This video really is my attempt to portray truly the sadness, the pain and the anguish, but also the heroism and triumph of war through what i have learned of it throughout my life, which isn't much. I really appreciate your comments, it really boosts me and helps me work on my other projects. Thanks again!
This is some of the greatest work ive seen on youtube and i think you should make more because its obvious you have a talent. :) keep up the good work. And may i recomend ''Saints and soldiers'' for your next video... WW2 battle of the bulge 73 captured american soldiers brutaly murderd by Germans only 4 escape! Epic story of thier survival. Based on real events. Please talk to me any time at my channel: LLopsPaintball333
The editing and syncing with the sound and movie is amazing. I love the part at the beginning with the first distorted chord in Damage Inc is synced perfectly with Winters first and only shot.
love the video... great series and great songs... i do have one question though. Does anyone know why Winters runs by himself instead of all at once? just wondering the tactics there
One of the guys says "Wait!" when winters starts runs because they are "supposed" to run when the red smoke grenade is really smoking out as the signal and for cover.
Took me quite some time to figure it out myself.. If you watch the scene closely, you can see a closeup of the grenade saying "poff" but just a very little coming out.. Then a little later, it starts pouring out lots of smoke..
I saw the original, unedited version of this video; it's freaxin amazing. Although this is shortened considerably, it does not ruin the video by any means.
The way the album is timed with the scenes from the series produces a dramatic effect, and it's edited for some amazing synchronization.
I especially like the scene involving the paradrop
I cannot watch the series as it's just too close to home. Thank you so much for this video. I know my dad was one of the bravest men in history- but you still cannot speak to him. He's been on meds that the gov sends him for yrs. When I was about 15 he completely snapped & we couldn't live with him anymore. I am now 42 & am just starting to understand - but I still cannot imagine what he went through. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge & other crazy deadly battles. Thanks.
This video just made me cry. Okay - bawl like a freakin baby. My father fought in WWII. Joined the Marines at 17. He was shot 3 times and 3 times went back. He has 3 purple hearts and many medals for his bravery. I have an old pic of him after battle with a couple of his "brothers". We are estranged because he went totally crazy from the war. This video really touched me and made me miss my him. He was a hero, but hated the killing. He only spoke of this war once to us his family. So sad..
great work!

Extremely well-made video! I had chills throughout the paratrooper scene. Your use of Damage, Inc.'s intro was quite clever.
I don't think any of us would be offended if after these few years that you decided to remake it with the HQ video.
Going to watch it again now, thanks!

Winters was supposed to run just before, so if he saw REAL problems, he could call everyone back, exposing only himself.
But the grenade didn't shoot the smoke out quick enough. It was delayed, that's why they were so late.
