I know that everybody has their own opinions and all that, but I honestly don't get the appeal of this band.

No offence and all but the main reason why i didn't like this video is the singers singing voice. I honestly felt that I'd have liked it better if he wasn't trying to sing badly, or at least that's the way I took it.  Maybe I'm just ignorent and that is his real singing voice.

The point is I don't get it. Is there a reason other than pure stylization?

Look up "Nine," and "Eight" to start off with, if you can get use to that and appreciate it a bit, then look up "fall down and never get back up again," "andria," and "sad prayers for guilty bodies."

I'm also a musician, and absolutely love the music in general, and the lyrical genius.
