What's so wrong?? This is the purest way to prepare a pua`a (pig). It's how my people have done it for thousands of years and it's still prepared this way in some places.

stuff it with carrots, sweet potatoes, potatoes, celery, onions,...what ever you feel like..its like steamed vegetables almost so its nothing really in particular
@purplefred67 apples,both grannys and reds, potatoes are good good but use sweet,also lots of celery and onion,and use a rub on the skin,what ever you like,it will help crisp the skin and taste awsome,good luck.

@tbursee it probably saves fuel and allows for a slower roast, like a crock pot type affect, because the ground will hold a lot of that heat, its a great isulator.

it's not fair to push religion on to ppl this way. People have different religions, and beliefs. let them watch this video in peace and stop trying to make them feel guilty. ppl do what they want to do.
