Never tried these... an old "bow" of mine stopped at an old country store once & the man there took a tiny tooth pick and rolled up his sleeve & plunged his entire arm into a huge jar of the pickled eggs ! LOL And with dripping arm brought out an egg perched on a tooth pick... yep, my friend ate it ! I never tried it ! LOL
Wow. That couldn't be any easier! I love pickled eggs. When I was 16 our family went to England and I saw 'Scotch eggs' in the pubs. They looked great. They had some sort of coating on them. This looks great! I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for this video!
@HALLSYSKITCHEN And get this. I was just out a the local IFA (Intermountain Farmers Association) store and they had a brand there called Amish Wedding. Pickles and preserves. A quart jar of pickled eggs was $7.99 there! Wow. Thanks again.
@JimboJitsu that's a good question. you could use(if they have it) some bacon liquid or make ur own and inject it in the egg b4 pickling. that sounds pretty good. ...there has got to be a way. something for us to think about. i used to experiment with a smaller jar that only held 1 egg and come up with some great combos. thanks much for watching/commenting my friend.
@JimboJitsu i have tried the apple cider and it just didn't taste right and all the coworkers thought the same....but if ya like apple cider it ok to use it. the white vinegar after 3 weeks makes these things pretty strong. that's why bars sell them so ya drink more. thx for watching. and hope ya like these....i'm sure ya will.
The way I make my pickled eggs is the same, only instead of using vinegar... I fill the jar up with louisiana hot sauce.... makes for a spicy treat....
@Cowboylikeme i have tried that and there great. i love the heat. i also tried a lot of other recipes for this. like putting about 50 jalapeno rings in the mix...WOW was that good. thank you much for watching.
Hallsy Have ever heard of Watermelon pickles or pickled brussel sprouts? Many people here in Iowa tell me I am missing out? Looking for information on this!
@pughmecdoc i have heard of a lot of stuff pickled but not sure about brussel sprouts..there is no reason why ya can't pickle brussel sprouts. ...put 1 in the brine and try it. or maybe 3 or 4 and try 1 every 7 days for flavor...thanks for watching. 3 or 4 and try 1 each week til ya get the right flavor. thanks for commenting/watching.
Thanks for this video - and reminder to make a couple of jars to have in my fringe! I love pickled eggs, so tomorrow I will make time to initiate some "egg-action"! :D
@Tokpela sounds great. and ur welcome. i always had a fridge full of these and sausages as i used to sell em at work and made a lot of money at it. over 100% profit on every jar. thx for watching.
@SeansFood use smaller eggs and ya can get errrr done in 15 days. also there is cooking with infusion ....i will show that in the future....very fast... less than 1 day ....thank you for your support of hallsyskitchen,.. thank you much!!!
just made a batch of these the other day. can`t wait to try them. thanks for the recipe.dave
