  • natural gas and propane conversion company is uscarb.com or 1800 553 5608

  • I bought 2 of these generators before Hurricane Katrina and used one all day on 2 gallons of gas about 16 hours running a 26 cu/ft frig/ freezer, two tvs, two fans, two flourescent lights. I converted them both to low pressure propane and natural gas after. LSKW1, i would buy some big propane tanks that store and never goes bad to run the generator. You could also use 2 inch abs black plastic pipe to direct the exhaust up and away from you.

  • @38magoo shit man i didn't know they could be converted like that, how much that run to have it switch over

  • how good is it??? PRETTY good

  • @TheGearhead188 lol, a little spin off Curb!!

  • I live near LA and I had some fun with my neighbors during a three hour power outage last summer. I own four UPS units, essentially a battery powered DC/AC inverter. When the power went out we are sitting in the dark, I thought lets use the UPS units for the TV and lamps. I plugged them in and we were watching TV and had lights in the living room, bedroom and kitchen. The neighbors were all in the dark and started coming over and asking why we had power. I said I had no idea, is your power out?

  • @GTVAlfaMan haha thats funny man..

  • Good video, but why would you care if your neighbors can hear it if you are using it during a power outage? If your electricity isn't working, more than likely your neighbor and the whole block is without power. I would not care if my generator was a bit louder since this is being used in an emergency situation. One disadvantage of being portable is that your "neighbors" can steal it much easier.

For my home, I would go for a heavier, more permanent unit. This little Honda is great for camping.

  • @GTVAlfaMan well i understand what your saying about having a heavy more permanent fixture, my thought behind was that ppl are less likely to hear it and less likely to come around to investigate.. i don't mind helping someone but i don't want my house to turn into a truck stop..and if someone REALLY wants something that you have..there going to get it reguardless of size weight ect...but thats in extreme cercumstances

  • what only 65 dba? thats quiet

  • 1.05 gallon tank on the US version (eu2000i, vs the Euro eu20i)

  • I have this generator too. its very quiet.

  • @torgomax how long you had yours for? any issues i should be aware of?

  • @lskw1 I have had two of these Honda EU2000i generators for a few years now with no issues, they work great.

  • It's funny, i'm familiar with this gen. and it sounds louder on this video than it does in person........their extremely quiet, espe compared to the 3500 watt 5horse briggs powered thing I have that sounds like cheap lawnmower

  • @grizz474 the first 15 feet out of my back door are enclosed...so its like an echo chamber

  • Man-thats a neat lil genny! I've got a ginormous v-twin that puts out 10,000! lol-Yeah you can run almost 2full size homes on it-but-its not nearly as portable or quiet as this! Great review!

  • @Jeenyus1983 can't win them all..sometimes i wish i had a larger one

  • @lskw1 Buy a 2nd one & run them in tandem & you should be able to power all of your basics & a few extras without any issues, take a look at my videos on this generator to see all that i power with mines.

  • very cool. Looks like a nice product. Sounds like an AC compressor. /John

  • @bearing01 yea it does kinda sound like an air compressor now that you say it...lol

  • Haha was that a spin off of larry david ? pretty pretty good

  • @mixwell1983 haha yes it was//one of my favorite shows its halirious

  • That is a nice little generator man ! The closest I have is a jumper battery pack for your car which you can charge but but it has a cigarette lighter adapter and I have an invertor that I think runs up to 150w which would work ok for lights and small crap but I keep it in my truck.. Thinking about getting a drop light with an energy efficient light as you could run that for a while if i went camping or whatever.

  • @mixwell1983 you can do that with the light or get one of those lanterns that have the florescent lights in the,. I think they run off a 6V battery.. a little more portable and they last a pretty long time

  • Its kind of hard to tell, but how would the noise compare to a push lawn mower?

  • @thegorrillaman1 depending on the mower. and obviously gas is louder than electric. but a mower will be about twice the noise of the generator at full tilt

  • Wow. That's really quiet.

  • Nice presentation, you are definitely set up well with that Honda.

  • @theKGB65 i really like it.. thanks man

  • Nice video, I'm looking into one of those.

  • @badjeep02 i looked for a while than i finally found one for a good price...

  • That's crazy quiet!!

  • @rekjavicxxx yea so that way when im makin the bed rock i don't have any distractions

  • @lskw1 I heard you're a screamer, so ya wouldn't hear it anyway :P

  • @rekjavicxxx that bitch i knew she told someone!!!!

  • dude, I told you, I didn't touch the lens, it was just the screen. Nice Gen.
