I find it funny how you spammed projectiles for practically the whole fight, and by that I'm not talking about just this form, I mean the whole fight, because ALL you did was spam projectiles when he was in the final form.
@Bthakilla4rilla I don't think I quite get the point you're making. Is there a problem with using projectiles on the final form or something? Because I certainly did not use projectile magic for the whole fight...
To be honest when I was doing this on Insane Mode I carried 9 bombs with me. I realised that if you throw tons of bombs down just before his final form activates you will take a nice chunk out of his health before he even moves.
But still, at least I now know another person who has legitimately reached Level 99 and done Insane Mode. It amazes me though how on regular mode, arrows are almost useless (starting from level 1.) On Insane mode they were almost my strongest weapon for stage clearing.
my lv 60 green knight's magic does more damage than your lv 99 blue knight and he doesnt use the beholder. BUT i still think ice is better because freezing your enemies is a huge advantage.
@Ultrox007 Oh sweet, but umm, cause I'm orange Knight and not Blue or green, would you suggest using Arrows instead of fireballs? cause I cant shoot arrows a LOT faster then I can hadouken
@Ultrox007 Sure. Above all, the #1 rule is to get as much space between you and whatever fencers come your way. As long as you maintain distance (and avoid any projectiles shot your way) you'll succeed.
@lionfang12 The pet I use is Beholder. It gives a small +2 magic bonus. Play through Full Moon with the Cardinal orb, and eventually near the part with the shacks it'll find a golden key-sword. Once you have this sword, go to the animal ark and go all the way to the left, where you'll find a locked door. Smack it with the key to unlock it, and voila! Your very own Beholder.
I use the Beholder because Blue Knight's splash magic's mana cost goes up as you level, so I need all the magic I can get.
Try attacking final form when he's sitting still in the air, you wont get hit from fireballs if you are are in the air for some reason. i was just fine when i attacked in the air.
LOL when we got to the spider part, I didn't know so I thought we had beat him, my friend told me you get over 9k of money if you collect it it's all yours and I was like YAY thanks dude.. then when I opened the chest I was like WTF dude you liar!! xD It was funny.. He was laughing his ass off.
@pyro11793 I've actually been recording these! I'll upload them once I kill that damn Necromancer. I can give you a tip right now that unless you're Red Knight, you probably don't stand a chance against him on Insane, 1v1. =P
Deserves way more views, awesome stuff. Thanks for the annotated tips too, I'm still struggling my way through Insane mode ATM, so they'll come in handy.
Stuck on Industrial castle, though I've only tried a few times. Not to mention I'm only level 55 still. >_>
Also, for the Industrial Castle (This is a little late, but I'll answer it anyways) the best strategy is to use projectile magic (RT+B), starting from the top-most corner of the screen, and work your way down in order to spray all the Fencers and Industrial Knights, then switching to the other side of the screen and repeating the process. For the elevator, use mid-air combos to ensare as many Fencers as possible in a corner. Stay mobile once the combo breaks.
Thanks a bundle, but I got through a little while ago. Wasn't exactly an elegant set of fights, but after some potion chugging and strategy changes, I got up to Desert. Not stuck, just haven't tried yet.
Then stopped playing for a while, but I'll get back to it eventually. :P
do you get the golden whale by this ?

Ok, 3 questions:
1. what's that pet called?
2. what does it do?
3. where and how can i get it?
