  • @DnlStnYtbr lol

  • I would REALLY love to put cold water and tea leaves in the device, and then microwave it. Would it really work?

I know it's officially microwave safe but I would like to know from you; if you ever tried.

    Thanks!

  • I love this thing, one comment though, it's better to let the water cool off a bit before combining it with the tea, according to some pretty intense tea purveyors I went to in China. They were ADAMANT on this point.

  • Love the Simpsons poster in the background. :)

  • How is this any easier that a small tea pot?

  • I just bought one of these today. After seeing them in action, I can't wait to try it out. Really quick and simple to use, perfect for taking to work etc.

  • This seems like a really great product, but would you happen to know what kind of plastic this infuser is made of? Because some hard plastics can give off chemicals into your great cup of tea.

  • @ChumpJoe According to America's Test Kitchen, they spoke with the manufacturer and the product contains none of the harmful plastic stuff (BPs?) I don't know enough about plastics to know what to look for but, apparently, ATK knew what to ask!

  • great review, would like to see more tea related vids on here, you do a great job of getting to the point!!

  • Heated plastic is not healthy. Its a better to use real glass or all steel. Stay away from plastic

  • They are made of food grade plastic.

  • Food grade plastic is still plastic. A steel or glass infuser is the safest.

  • Not all plastic is harmful. There are many different types of plastics and the ingenuitea is made of HDPE (high density polyethylene) food grade plastic. Although this is not the highest grade of plastic possible, it is safe to heat water in.

  • I asked the people at adagio and they said it is made of polycarbonate, not HDPE.

  • Awesome review dude! I think I am going to pick up the starter set in a couple days. I have never really been a big tea drinker, but I think I'll start.

I had never heard of Adagio until I saw them on Diggnation. Maybe I'll pick up Mintastic and Executus. Both sound good!

  • how is the man behind the green curtain.

  • It's pretty good. I can't quite put my finger on what it smells/tastes like, but I like it, especially with a bit of milk. It has actual pieces of almonds in it which is cool.

  • I just got one in the mail today! I've already had 3 cups to drink today because it's so delicious.

  • i see that you have some of prager's man behind the green curtain. I just ordered the green tea starter kit since I am a huge fan of green tea and executus and love child.

  • Yup, I've also got Kevin's Mintastic (which is amazing). My roommate has Executus, it's pretty decent, kind of different since it's so fruity. I've actually got a review of the Green Tea starter kit on here as well.

  • Yep I have watched all of your videos.

  • I agree with you on Mintastic. It is truly amazing, and Executus is ok just really fruity. I bought a tin of Citron Green and Gunpowder recently as well as some samplers of Jasmine #12 (strong floral scent and taste) and some Cocomint green which I have yet to try.
