  • This Illness is much worse when you're young cause you have so much

adrenaline. You have to burn off that adrenaline by daily exercise on a bike,

or swimming....and do the same amount everyday. Don't jog cause it will

mess up your joints for life if you keep doing it for 20 years like I did. Get

on medication and please listen to people like myself who have already

been through the worst of it, even if you don't care to listen to me. It's usually

    inherited by one parent.

  • crystal your not alone hun, i have the same prob i have agoraphobia and severe panick attacks due to a tramatic experience,,, but we all know where not alone hun,,,

  • can i be your friend, whoever suffers from it!

  • oh my gawd your beautiful

  • You aren't alone... if anything, take comfort in that.

  • This is really cute, ill subscribe lol =]

  • I haven't left my house in 2 years :P Ive been agorophobic for about 5 years i just learned to tolerate it XD. I'm now 19 and i don't really ever see it ending i'm just ready to spend the rest of my life alone w/o any one. On the bright side i run on a treadmill everyday and workout incase i ever get over it.

  • inkey2- it is when you fear that you cant get away from too much noise or people-a fear of being trapped and vonurable.

  • You're like the girl version of me.

  • you're not alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • agorophobia, for those that do not have it......is not a fear of going places.....actually it is a fear of "having another attack". Would you want to go places if you were going to pass out, suffocate and vomit all at the same time?

  • anyone that has this problem is making a BIG MISTAKE not getting professional treatment.....it will not just go away and the longer you have it...the harder it is to get rid of it. It may take a combination of medicine and verbal therapy. Stay away from cafene, cola, cofee, too much sugar....also marijuana can kick of panic attacks

  • I got a lot from this video. I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm agorophobic but I do have anxiety, ocd, and depression and when any of those 3 things are acting up I experience a little bit of a need to stay in my comfort zone. I can't say I completely understand but I get it and I have my own comfort issues. BTW I think you are really cute and seem really sweet! :D

  • good to feel that we're not alone

  • I was a pilot. Got this condition, that ended that. Getting over it very slowly I can now make it to the store.

  • @Bigredgumball are you getting treatment?

  • Agoraphobia and social phobia, is like depression, its generally a healthy mind in a sick society, theres nothing wrong with us, its the medical people that has the problem. Remember we still live in a world that glorifys normality and ridicules difference., it is slowly changing though.

  • hi nice to meet you, if it makes you feel any better i don't hardly go anywhere either.. i have no friends at all (apart from people i've met online) and I didn't even take my Gcse's or finished high school (Due to my ocd & Social anxiety etc.). Maybe i might find something usefull to do in the real one day without feeling like an idiot.

  • I wanna share with something unique and amazin i found on utube it really helps chek it out dnt judge it i knw u mite think it luks abit weird lol but just try it its all natural...if ur not sure about it dnt worry do sum research and c if u lyk it....but my advice this will help u millions its called EFT

  • why would you actually leave a comment like that? oh right you're just a kid dw.

  • I had agraphobia when I was 14, had to leave school, I guess it happned because I was assulted, then became paranoid and had panic attacks, then stayed home a lot and eventually couldn't leave the house without feeling like I was going to die.

If I had to go to Hospital I would throw an tantrum like a child refusing and throwing up from fear, I eventually got better after being put into a home for about 6 months.

  • @RoseyM thats great you got better......how are you now?

  • I think you're an amazing person.

    You're doing just fine, chica.

    ;)

  • aww, thanks hun :)

I really should update this, it's been like a year. ha

  • @crystalxinterrupted How are you doing now? I'm the same age, have suffered for around 2 years.

  • great video.. hope all is well..

  • Continue to make you're videos, there a good outlet for you, but for others to relate to. Your experience with agoraphobia is unique, you cannot be taught from a book or a video how to treat it, in time it will come naturally - christ I sound like a prat! Since mid 2003 I was 'diagnosed' with agoraphobia and social-phobia, I've learnt to 'control' my issues, but I realise there will be times when I am unable to go to college or later teach lol... I'll add you on myspace. Hang in there x

  • Meet My gorgous couageous baby sister who i love so very very much

your not waffeling or anything babes everything youve said makes perfect sense

  • you're way to pretty for this shit

  • find a good doctor...get on some meds....it may take a while to find the right one

  • your beautyfull love you, hope you get better!!!

  • you're cute :)

  • Anyone have inner ear problems/dizziness? Here's a suggestion: Get the book "Phobia Free" by Harold N. Levinson. get it used on amazon or from the library for I have no financial interest in Levinson's work, just an emotional one. The book saved my life. Panic free for 16 years from a simple inner-ear medication called meclizine. Get your inner-ears checked, thoroughly. Write me on youtube, I'll send links to 13 medical studies on pub-med showing link between panic/agor and inner ear problems.

  • Dont be so hard on yourself, one question do you get depressed cause i have a bit cause of my panic attacks?

  • i hope that you get the help you need ive been agorophobic for 12 years i managed to get a job with my big brother at one point and it lasted a while he didn't even know there was anything wrong at the time just thought i was lazy when i stoped showing i moved from my hme town to the city and i found because less people knew me i didn't feel as bad as quickly i would still panic sometimes but it was easier to hide what was realy going on my advice be open with yourself and your family at least

  • personally i think you are a great speaker and that you are very good at telling how you feel

  • You are a fantastic speaker! You're right about agoraphobia, but it can be semi-cured, and in my case I'm praying for a full recovery. It takes a lot of time and patience, but with the right psychologist and the right meds it can make your life so much happier. After seeing many therapists I finally found the RIGHT therapist. I finally started getting help. (Cont.)

  • He worked with me using Exposure Therapy and CBT. I still see him. Well, I'm too physically sick to leave right now, so we have phone sessions. Before I became sick, I was at a point where I was leaving WITHOUT the aide of medication. I still can. Sometimes I still disaccosiate... esoecially when I feel I'm being on the attack. (Cont.)

  • But I have come a long way over the last year and a half. It's a slow process but you can do it! I have faith in you! Send me a PM anytime. BTW... I hope you had a fantastic Birthday!

Sending love & smiles form afar!

    (((Hugs))) to you...

    Paula

  • I found this really interesting, plus, you're good at vlogging. You should keep it up! And I hope you enjoy your birthday xoxoxoxo

  • You are quite brave to do this. You seem very intelligent and you're still young, so I'm confident you can turn things around. Hope you have a happy birthday.
