  • ~we need common sense reasonable gun laws~

coming from the Brady lawyer, so he's admitting that laws on the books already are bad.

  • who the hell is that brady campaign freak and what hole from the earth did he crawl out of? what a fuckin douche

  • Usual Brady hot words. "Child rape." I thought this was about the Second Amendment?

  • The 2nd amendment is all 'approval' I need you fucking dick-head.

I don't need your pathetic approval more than I need yeast infection.

Stay out of my live you low life control freak dick-flake! Fuck you!

    .

  • Citizens who conceal carry are 7 times less likely to commit crime than Police.

    Who is the criminal now.

  • Pratt from the GOA is right. No amount of rational reasoning or logical presentation of valid long standing statistics will change the mind of people like Vice. They use the "dangerous" gun as a way to instill fear and control people. It isn't even about firearms control...it is about citizen control.

  • oh the brady bunch are so uninformed ...i laughed through the whole thing...mostly at

    the brady bunch

  • what happened to equality? they want all of us to run like children to our "parents/masters/gods/royalty" and plead like serfs and peasants for 'permission' to 'allow' us to do something fundamentally our right anyway...

  • We should be allowed to carry, without a permit, without having to ask permission. That makes it a privilege. It is clearly a right! Us law abiding citizens, with clean and clear records should not have to jump through all these hoops!

  • Erich couldn't be more right and Dan couldn't be more of a jackass. Thank you Erich and everyone at Gun Owners of America for protecting and never compromising our rights.

  • Yes in NY and NJ... give the police the discretion.... Sure have you tried to get a permit in those states. Unless you are well connected, no way you are going to get a permit.... How come I can carry in PA but if I need to go to NY state and NJ I need to keep my gun home. Even in the neighboring counties....

  • The gun control nuts think that all gun owners are criminals and the statistics show it's the exact opposite. I never understand the mentality.

a gun license turns a right into privilege. Why should unelected bureaucrats interpret the law?

  • Does anyone know the specific requirements for said permit?

    Thanks.

    And thanks for the upload.

  • It's quite simple. If you need a permit, it's not a right.

"... the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

What is so confusing about that?

  • so this weasel wants to size me u befor he judges weather I am fit to be issued a CCW. By whose standard do the jackbooted police compare one applicant to another?

remember...When seconds count, the police are only minutes away!

  • Brady=Irrelevant

  • Comment removed

  • @MikeFromTheUK1 Agreed. What harm does it do to merely carry a firearm? That question usually gets a hypothetical answer already overly covered under our laws anyway. Now it is a matter of actually putting the real criminals in jail and leaving the law abiding alone for a change.

  • @raiden409 Now, his boyfriend probably does that for him every night anyway.

  • @theArmedJanitor Now, now. Common sense and reasonable are elastic terms. Oh and I do agree the Brady Campaign lacks any common sense or reasonability.

  • I have a gun permit, it says: "THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."

  • brady campaign should start banning cars.., i been almost hit by cars far more times that i can count by reckless drivers.., last week an old man around my house was killed because the driver was in hurry and decided to around the bus stop...

  • @MikeFromTheUK1 oh, sorry mike. i misread your post to be "unlawful" instead of "not unlawful".

  • Props to Utah, can't wait to move to NV so I can breath some free state air.

  • Warren v. District of Columbia "The court held that official police personnel and the government employing them are not generally liable to victims of criminal acts for a failure to provide adequate police protection."

So if the police are not legally obligated to protect you.. Why are they Infringing on my right to protect my self..

  • @MikeFromTheUK1 common law for who?

  • Dan vice please shut the fuck up !

  • I would like to see added to the debate the question of why any government approval is needed to carry. The founder's intent for the 2nd amendment was to protect the people against the govt. To them the 2nd wasn't about crime or hunting, it was to keep govt in check. That should be a significant part of the discussion.

  • @4thstuning Sadly Not to many people know this...

  • @4thstuning

No Try reading the 2nd Amendment again, The word PROTECTdoes not appear once in the second amendment!

  • @ChefDevo1 Did I say the 2nd had the word "protect" in it? Nope. So what's your point?

  • @4thstuning "The founders intent for the 2nd Amd was to PROTECT the people...." is this not what you said. There is a reason that the word "protect" doesnt appear in the 2md amed.

  • @ChefDevo1 2nd attempt, "what's your point?"...or do you have one?

  • @4thstuning my point is, that the 2nd amendment WAS NOT created to protect the people of any govt. Simply to give the "People" the right to bear arms. When you say that "intent of the 2nd amendment was to protect the people against the govt." that is incorrect. Its intent was to GIVE the "people" the right to keep and bear arms. THATS IT!! Like I said before, read the 2nd amendment again.

  • @ChefDevo1 Two points: 1. The history I've read was that one of the top concerns of the citizens was retaining a defense against oppressive government. This attitude came from previous experience with English govt disarming the citizenry AND a fear of standing armies. 2. There is no "give" in the constitution, it's based on inalienable rights and specific limitations on govt. Considerable debate occurred about the need for specificity of any of our inalienable rights.

  • @ChefDevo1 you could be more wrong, but I'm not sure how.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

that's protection from any form tyranny.

the Second amendment is there to protect the First amendment. You may not like it but it's the most simple of facts.

  • I wonder how many driver's licenses Utah suspended last year. to compare, anyone know how many citizens have a UT CCW VS. how many revoked? The argument against owning guns, is always about quoting the "Scary" sounding statistic. If they suspended 1,000 CCWs, but there are 1,000,000 UT CCW owners, it doesn't help their point by saying "1/10th of a percent were suspended"... Not scary.

  • @chadbriagmail You can get your license suspended for numerous clerical reasons. In TX if you fail to amend your CHL within 30 days of a move, you lose your license and can be charged with a Class A or B misdemeanor. So there are numerous clerical reasons as well for your CHL to be revoked. As usual the Brady Campaign uses deception to push an agenda.

  • Look at the fucking cocksucker shaking his head the whole time. its so outrageous that there is even a question, simply outrageous. NRA, GOA, USA for life.

  • @MikeFromTheUK1

    Exactly.
