@numbermark A $100,000 2011 STI? ...and you're 16? Whether or not you are actually telling the truth doesn't matter. Either way...that is the stupidest post that I have ever read.
@DtoWnSux1 yes if you do launches. fortunately i have an upgraded diff so i dont have that problem :) one way to save your diff is to slip the clutch and let the tires spin off a launch but even then you only have time before it goes boom.
@racer2k3 did you upgrade the whole diff or just the bolts holding it together?im not sure what causes it to go out. but i want to upgrade mine to avoid it. so idk if i would just upgrade the bolts or housing.
@DtoWnSux1 i got one built by PuddyMod. the thing that breaks is the collar as far as i know. if your going to be stock with intake/header/exhaust id spend my money somewhere else. but if your going turbo or supercharged then yea get it. look on the s2000 forums for more info. my diff was around $1300.
@racer2k3 im just buying a stock one but if i ever do donuts or spinning out of first gear idk if i should worry about the diff going out if it was all stock.
@DtoWnSux1 first of all, there are no imperfections with the engine or drivetrain. any car will last you as long as you take care of it. most breaks happen when you start modifying your car or you drive like a jackass. since you just got it and arent doing anything major, just keep up with the cars maintenance.
@Fiji1234 I got a deal in Massachusetts for a Mugen Cf hardtop, cf hood, cf trunk, and a custom single exhaust invidia for 3,200$ ill make a vid tomorrow and post it up its pretty sweet lol but congrats Bro its fun being big brother in the Honda game lol
@numbermark hmm you can put so much $ into a car but you probably can't even handle the power of it so just stay a virgin and keep playing need for speed cus our cars are built not bought. Think about blue printing a motor before you put that money into a car Ohh yea by the way I just turned 20 and I had my s2000 for 7 months and put 4k in it, no mommy and daddy its called build credit cus that's how bad the economy is soon your parents will be using that strategy too
numbermark did you pay for your car or did your parents? Grow a real pair and do a reach around on yourself, and get a life. Can your parents buy you that too?

Lol at numbermark!!! The 2011 sti would NOT beat the s2000 stock vs supercharged lmao. The sti I'n this video is faster than your "100,000" 2011 sti. Especially from a roll.
to bad my 2011 sti will kill ur s2000 by the way just sayin and the best part is u probly saved up ur whole life for tht s2000 im 16 and my sti rit now is worth over 100,000$ just sayin
both nice cars, but the question still remains. When people race at a raceway, is it from a roll? No. Just because the STi is all wheel drive, all drivers say "let's go from a roll". Racing is from a dig, nothing more.
Numbermark is the biggest faggot to ever troll YouTube... It's that simple

@racer2k3 other things such as what?like other misperfections in the engine or drive train?

walked the slow STi? That's a supercharged S2000 and a 20g STi. They are both quite fast I assure you.
evan8683 2 years ago 8
@evan8683 Very true, but since the STI is AWD it tends to die off at higher speeds. I'd still rather have the STI as a daily.
