Well I've contacted quite a few Ebayers who have bought the SD5 and love it. So I've also ordered one and will upload some demos when I've got used to it!
Slow-mo is a good way to hide faults yes, but it is an effective story telling tool as well, and that it reason I chose to employ it for this particular demo. Please check out my other demos and you will see some nice long takes at full speed, as well as some other dynamic shots you may like as well. Thanks!
It surprises me too, and I'll tell you, the bearings make a HUGE difference. Aside from the ability to pan like a steadicam the SD-5's pan grip reduces the side to side shaking that comes from simply gripping the post of a DIY rig.
yep! and is actually the most delicate part in a DIY steadicam. If the stock one you see on YouTube involves screwing three tubing parts togheter, this next step involves some machining. an that's what blocks most users from doing that.
yes men el una muy buena calidad yenqui

This reminded me so much of a black lab I had when I was a kid, what a great buddy! I'm looking to buy an SD5 very soon.

I have sold nearly 15 in the last 25 days. Check ebay, I have one listed now. Thanks.

okay, what's more than the average DIY steadicam? the bearing on the main shaft?
that's a mostly under-rated part of the steadicam principles, and it puzzles me that
nobody ever thought about that main bearing before.
