  • Mixed feelings about this. On one hand, he's trying to get people up and excited. On the other hand, you're paid to pick and play music, and match the people there, not dance around and get them to meet your expectations.

  • Haters gonna hate.

  • Hmmmm, I like to move to the beat of the music, but I have a booth that hides most of me and my equipment anyway. I like to enjoy the event, but don't get to the point of dancing like that and taking attention away from the happy couple.

  • Have a slice of wine!

  • A least he is better than that boob slapping wedding DJ.

  • I dont thinks he's a bad DJ, i think he's great. He wants everyone to have a great time, good for him i say. I'd hire him.

  • ok .....i see the getoblaster ,where,s the pro dj ,, did he ever show up ??where,s his gear and lights???

  • good on him.. having a bit of fun instead of just standing there like a human jukebox wating for the money

  • a good DJ works the crowd!

  • You're FIRE clown!!!!! lol

  • Always be carefull when booking your wedding Dj.

    Louis,

    Twin Decks Discos.

  • Looks like a fun guy

  • Camera Man seems to be the problem!

  • Come on, you actually LIKE this performance? Shame on you! This is a glaring example of why brides hate DJs and why we're thought of as buffoons. Hamming, showboating, glomming the spotlight, and drawing attention to oneself are not attributes that ingratiate wedding entertainers with the DJ shopping public.

  • so what he was getting into the music, just as we ALL do, there must be a LOT of worst DJs out there

  • yeah could have used a light show, but people are dancing, why is this bad?

  • hell he's awesome. not only did he play a great tune but he's bringing the spirits of the dead guest up and yes i mean dead. you are standing or sitting there with the camera sideways, what the hell is wrong with you? are you drunk. Lol no seriously hes doing his job and more should do the same.

  • Well, as a DJ myself, I hope my customers are nicer to me than this when I work to bring their event to life.

  • Fuck you! He is awesome! We need more DJs that are more alive even behind the decks! Keep up the good work, DJ ALIVE! =)

  • I think he did a great job, your just stupid. i bet you didnt even get up there and dance and from the looks of it, there was a kid and a mom dancing. guess he was making it less dead looking

  • oh quit being so picky ..you low balled it,dont look for a discount DJ then...lol

  • The Dj is doing his job! Those who post negative comments don't have a clue.

  • What an epic dj, I want him 4 my wedding, sure my girl will agree, lol

  • BTW, why can't you hold a camera straight?

  • Hi there. I'm a DJ myself, and one of the hardest aspects of the occupation is knowing what the bride and groom want from wedding to wedding. Not trying to fault you, but you could've simply asked him to stop dancing if it bothered you. I think he is just trying to be high energy, and bring a little life to the party. Maybe he is enjoying himself; I mean, it is a party... right? At the risk of sounding rude, can you dance any better? I'm seriously not trying to insult you. :-) Congratulations!

  • Great, DJ trying to get energy out of dead room, hard as nails. Least that geezer is putting out. Maybe over the top but better that than the boring git who click buttons on a laptop and says nothing.

  • I'm a DJ, and I dance... but... wow. I work with the crowd and react to it, not OVERPOWER it. Just.. wow.

  • I agree. The DJ is supposed to be the entertainer for the reception. Be it playing music, or helping try and get the crowd going. Heck, I've even gotten out on the floor for a couple minutes to help stimulate things a little when the crowd wasn't quite in the party mood. I tell ya, after I left the dancefloor, it never emptied the entire rest of the night.

  • @DJRhinofart I hope you will seriously reconsider your name on here. With a name with the word "fart" in it, it screams immaturity. Not picking on you because it's funny but professionally speaking, I would reconsider something else for your "potential" clients. They may look at your name and say "this guy stinks." Just sayin'.

  • I agree with DJ Mikey, he could be sitting down falling asleep. I have seen so many dj's that could care less, almost like they are in a coma!

  • Ahahahh' he was getting TOO into itt. xD

  • OMG.... a clown, im not the best dj but u got to move the crow with music not making a fool out of him...

    i

  • This DJ puts the FUN back in FUNK!

  • looks like hes doing OK to me, hes got good music on, dressed for the occasion, so what if hes dancing as long as he keeps the good tunes goin and hes professional otherwise, whats the big deal?

  • @0verload You mean "UNDRESSED" for the occasion. His sleeves are unbuttoned as is his vest. Why not just wear pajamas? I'll bet he's even wearing black sneakers instead of dress shoes (a glaring red flag of unprofessionalism). Despite my dislike of his schmaltzy antics and attention hogging, this video keeps drawing me back to view again and again and every time I get more agitated. To all of the DJs like this, and those who LIKE this - keep up the bad work. It makes real DJs look good.

  • I'd hire that DJ. Me and him can have a dance off :D

Also, at least he was trying to living up the party but, mostly weddings are suppose to be sophisticated and one of the most precious moments of your life and I am guessing he was bored either way.

    This video is funny XD

  • Would you rather have a 15 year with an iPod, sitting on a chair looking bored? Dancing and bringing energy to the party isn't a bad thing.

  • ha ha, thought he was cool ...lol

  • hmmm it reminds me of one of those commercials where they ordered a bad dj and its some old dude dancing lmfao

  • UGH! Poor CLIENTS! They must have been mortified that they had this clown yukking it up in the spotlight and drawing attention to himself. If a roomful of people are in their seats in front of an empty dancefloor it isn't because the DJ isn't being 'colorful' enough. It's not because he isn't hyping up the crowd' on the mic, leading line dances, or passing out plastic blow ups. People dancing is a function of MUSIC. You can't make them dance - you make them WANT TO by playing good music.

  • he's doing fine. He's dressed nicley. One nice cabinet for all of his equipment, and good music, along with motivation of the crowd, The kis is having fun, and so is the adults.

  • @seansy59 I'm sure he made near 1000 bucks that night with that second rate cabinet dancing his mid life crisis away

  • awesome!!!!!!

  • What wrong with that, he's just getting the crowd pumped up.

  • I DJ weddings too -- have for about 20 years. I used to worry about "dead" crowds. I'd break out in a sweat, and try anything to get people dancing, usually at the cost of my dignity. Several years ago, I just decided not to worry about it -- if a crowd wants to dance, great, and if they don't, fine. I encourage people to dance (to an extent), but if they just wanna sit and talk, that's their right. I find with this attitude, I enjoy my gigs more, and my customers enjoy my performance more.

  • The DJ in this video makes a big mistake in my book -- he's acting as if he's the star of the show, and he isn't. The bride and groom are the stars of the show.

  • Anything to get em dancing, try try again I always say, I guess people who haven't been in the business don't, know how tuff it can be to be the puppetmaster.

    Good job

  • he looks like he is doing a good job

  • With respect, I think he was just having fun.

  • the whole song about sex is the funny thing

  • cheesy

  • Not sure what's wrong with this. Would you like him to be a drunk sitting in an office chair, and not engaged in the efforts of entertaining?

  • Did you give him a playlist or any ideas of what you wanted? Each wedding is different and so are the people. He made me laugh and now I wanna dance. Thanks DJ!

  • Good DJ. I don't see anything wrong here.

  • LOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • A note to any people planning a wedding that is going to have a DJ:

Make sure you actually watch the DJ you are going to hire play a set BEOFRE you agree to any money. I would go to an event he was doing and watch for a bit. Maybe even try to sneak in a wedding he is doing for just a few songs. That way you can avoid hiring corny ass crappy DJ's like this guy.

  • What's the big deal? Obviously your wedding was VERY exciting.

    You're boring aren't you?

  • judging by the music im guessing either the b&g wanted country and it is a stuffy crowd or he is just screwing up..... if the crowd blows, there's not much a dj can do

  • It looks like he was trying to put some life in that dead party,Good job dJ

  • @joeh2401 Again...I agree. Atlanta Occasions might want to consider taking a note from this guy about his energy. If you belive just sitting behind a booth all night is what entertaining is all about, then you seriously need to reconsider what your guests think about that. Interacting with yourself is not interacting. Go DJ, go DJ, go DJ

  • all I see is energy a little funny but hes not just sitting there it could be worse

    lol

    DJ Mikey Mike

  • @directsound Yeah that is true it could be far worse! lol But don't get me wrong that DJ is Corny!

  • @directsound dj mikey mike i have seen your vids and sir you are a pro. you should write a book on this.....no seriously!!

  • @directsound I agree. At least he was "trying" to get the crowd involved. Maybe a little "too" much but better than nothing. I say good for this guy.

  • I swear, he did this same thing the entire night from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. It was like he was auditioning for American Idol!
