I like very much what he does with this. i get the feeling he likes it because he can make it slow, dramatic, and kind of bluesy. He could even take all that up (or down {low}) a notch and it would be totally his own, and spellbinding. Hed be excellent if he took up that "genre" with more emphasis. You know what the problem with this version is? You'll force yourself to hear it once, then you don't want to hear it again. It's slow, dreary, boring and unoriginal. It's tired, and without the vocals, it could be any generic song out there. But Michael Jackson's version is instantly recognizable within the first few notes. It can be played over and over without getting old, it's catchy, not slow, and completely unique. Plus he added a genius dance to his genius song. RIP to the legend
