In some ways, I feel like a selfish bi*** for doing it so often. But then... I sit back and say to myself, "If I don't do it, no one will do it for me". I want to take control of the things I can, and not be too surprised when things can't go according to my plans. It's good to have things out of your control, but it can be so frustrating. It's a line that I tread every day.
Thank you for sticking around and watching my videos. :)
Man you are SO CLOSE to goal !!! So exciting. I think it's nice to distance yourself from youtube every now and again, especially with all the weird drama going on.
I find the more water I drink, the more water my body demands.
Yeah I was confused because after a month of eating raw, my lips just chapped up completely and wouldn't stop even with medicinal chapstick. Turns out I needed my B12s!
Hi Rachel - Did you try a raw food diet at some point? I have only been subbed to you for a few months and I haven't gone all the way back yet but you mentioned a "raw food mentality". Did you have any success with it or did it not really work? Just curious - keep up the good work!
I did try eating raw from about the end of July to September/October. There are a lot of principles that I took from reading the book that I find helpful (like digestion) but it's difficult for me to get out of it now, and find things like dairy and wheat totally acceptable. Weird, right? I guess some things stick with you. :p
Raw does work if you work into it slowly. I detoxed too fast and bounced out of it rather quickly, but I felt the best I've ever felt during it.
Good for you for putting yourself first (in do many aspects of your life)!

B12! Me too! A few years ago I was so constantly exhausted I thought I had mono, but the blood test showed I just needed more B12. Ick.

It may be true, though!
I always buy lean books, with lower GI.
